He's likely laying down with a bunch of whales who can float him to safety.

I like watching hurricane footage. Seeing all those climate change deniers swim, drown or flee, very entertaining. People who in 2024 still haven't figured out that:
- living in or next to a forest
- living next to a river
- living on or near the beach on flat land
are very tricky lifestyles just deserve to suffer.
Insurers are a lot more realistic. They refuse to insure many houses in high risk areas. That should tell owners and potential buyers something...

So many years of warning, and yet no common sense. "We want to live near the beach, preferably on it!". Okay, well suffer the consequences. And don't ask the rest of the population to pay for your arrogance and stupidity.

Is it going yet? How long will it last?

No shit! I have relatives who live in Florida and they go through this every year. Why live in a place like that?

Why live in Florida period?

Why live in Florida period?
Poor man's California.

Well that wasn't what they were predicting. Lot of people got lucky for sure.

My pool cage is busted again.
Doesn’t look like any other damage for me down there.
My season here in NY ends soon and I’ll see if there are any other minor damages.

Wow. You're a real piece of work aren't you?
Most people don't doubt climate change. Most people doubt wether or not it is caused by humans.
For example, you're probably the kind of mensa member who claims "it's man made" (you're probably also the kind of self righteous prick who only uses 'man' in negative contations such as man made climate change and use more 'person centered pronouns' with everything else such as human kind) Yet you conveniently ignore ice ages, or the thousand year droughts that happened way before indistrialiazation.
Personally, Florida sucks. You in particular should never visit it. You wouldn't like it. Best for you to stay away altogether.
-

Climate change - oh brother. Like this shit hasn't been going on for 10,000 years. You dumb fuck. The thermometer as we know it wasn't even common until the late 1800's but you believe the average temp of the atmosphere has been going up for the past 100, even when no one measured it.
Go back to sucking off Tim Walz.

“Climate change” lol

I just pray for the safety of the people

who started that trend climate change bill gates?

If you want to live there then you take the risk upon yourself or pay huge insurance premiums (if you can get it).
Don't ask Uncle Sugar to bail you out.
This is happening all along the coast as people build homes where they shouldn't.

What a stupid statement to make.
Instead of playing with your sandbag in your one garage gym why not go there & be a real man & help the emergency services building sandbag walls to help the people.

Big nothing here in West Palm Beach.

Shitzo finally finds an advantage to living in his car in a Florida Walmart parking lot.

Poor man's California.
That is BS. It is just not to safe to live on the beach. Better to be far from the coast.

Florida is nice in the winter months.
The rest of the year it's a sauna.
Another attraction was the low cost of living but that has apparently ended if you want to live in the desirable areas.
In the late 80s you could get a nice condo for $70-$80k. Now it would be $500-$700k or more because of demand. Renting has also gone up.
Hurricanes have always been a threat down there.
I've been going down for a week every year in early spring. I'm bored of it though so may not go next year.

Only when you move away from the beach area. Ft Lauderdale isn't that bad. You can see higher temps in Orlando and north FL with much more humidity. The ocean wind keeps that pushed out west from us. It's hot... but not as bad as people make it to me.

If you live in Florida and far from the coast you are living in Redneck Central.

There is no better State in the Country than Florida right now.
-
What a joke of a hurricane lol
Sucks, like crying wolf. Hopefully next time people don’t stay behind because of this and then get swamped by a real storm.

I loved it down there.....it got super hot at times but no cold and snow made it worth it to me.

I can tell you don’t live in FL. I think it was a record for tornados touchdowns and warnings caused by the hurricane. Had an EF3 2 miles from my house that went for over 20 miles and was over 300 yards wide destroying anything in its path, and there was another EF3 500 yards wide. The next day in Shizzoland, I saw a shipping container that must’ve been blown 300 yards onto the other side of I-95. Tons of trees are snapped in half along I-95. Over a million without power and people died in Fort Pierce and that’s just what’s close to me, so you don’t really know what you’re talking about.

I went to FSU in Tallahassee and it would be a nice place to live. Tons of hot college girls.

In the college girls thread on the sex board FSU had some absolutely gorgeous girls pictured. The South in general has beautiful women in college but they are not available to you unless you are partying at the university.
-
I worked in the "classiest strip joint in the city for 13 years.......by "classy" I mean they had the best looking hot chicks weekly.
I barely noticed them after a while,I felt liked a Gynecologist, but when I went to Jensen Beach in Florida I was forced to lay on my stomach in the sand..........quality pussy everywhere, cuz it`s so nice down there everyone is body conscience........chicks in the gym were smoking hot as well.
-
Florida is where all the Alligators creep into your Garden :o
I mean i´ve seen videos of them going into swimming pools & running onto Golf courses....fuck that

It gets too cold in the winter for me up there. But, you're right about the college girls. I went to FAMU. ;D

Can’t wait for you to get a UTI
-
Lived on Treasure Island 2 Years and St.Pete Beach 2 years. Just recently moved back to Texas. Yes, people understand it’s a trade off. It’s a great place to live be but the hurricanes can upend your lives.

I used to install and refurbish hurricane shutters for all the high rise condos when I was down there.
There`s tons of high rise condos on the beaches.

Eh, they had to evacuate for this.
My buddy is in the St Pete area. From the previous storm, he was in the process of replacing is condo floor, since water had got in a mold was developing. He legit thought he might not even have a place to return to after this.
It's part of living down there.

Retard, you probably want to suck it clean, ghey and confused libturd...

I think most people on this thread who are talking shit have themselves never been in such as a situation.
Families lost & children losing parents with no where to live.
Most who talk shit on here have never lived in bad conditions with nothing to eat or drink or to keep warm.
Imagine losing everything you own.
Respect to the Emergency services & the Military who are helping.

That's because there is fuck all to do but stay inside when the temps reach 115 degrees by 10am.

Insurance will be hard to obtain for those who had claim and rates are going to be super high. HOA communities are going to be raising fees as well.
Floridians moving to SC .

Yes there are many...But they should not be on the beach. Why do you think SurfSide Condos dropped? Corrosion attacked the structural steel...

That is true. It's a trade off. But I suspect for some, Helene woke a lot of people up. I still have friends up and down the west coast who suffered from Irma, and then Helene and now Milton that have them thinking about relocating. We were lucky and moved from the Treasure Island St. Pete Beach area in May. Insurance will likely be ridiculous going forward
-
Moving from the beach out of a flood zone and away from the Hurricanes has saved me thousands a year in insurance. Entire houses were falling into the Ocean and the sound side houses while safer still had really high insurance. One year a hurricane got behind the houses into the sound where it built up more power and did a lot of damage.

I agree, the salt air corrodes steel like a big dog that`s mainly why we refurbished the shutters.

Yes, I have heard others say this last go-round could be the straw for them that breaks it.
