I don't know what the hell they look for in classic but that's an uneventful physique, I think others feel the same, how often has he come up here?

You're not buying his nattie status?

Uneventful physique, also like Cormier.

Probably his best year -
.
I remember he had a bad accident around '98 or so where he slipped, and tore both quads. It took him out of the game, more or less. They used to use him like Mike O'Hearn, for ads and pictorials.

How in the hell do these guys get these injuries?

I think , fairly recently, Ron Love and JJ Marsh both also tore both quads. Ron was a counselor at a camp of some kind and was leading the group in jumping jacks and somehow tore both quads doing jumping jacks. The crazy part is he's in his 70's and was in shape to do a masters show. JJ tore both of his during a basketball game. Supposedly leapt up to dunk or rebound and came down, snapping both quads.

Branch Warren as well. I have never heard of anyone outside of bodybuilding tearing quads because of a slip.

A myriad of factors: Overweight, muscular or not. Aging makes muscles and tendons lose flexibility. A past of bodybuilding makes muscles have and abnormal hability to get activated to the max, at the slightest stimuli, wich makes a small jump or landing, without proper warm up, a injury prone situation. That's my rationale.

Yes. Branch claimed to tore a tricep by falling from stairs. Maybe their size/weight makes them more clumsy in daily routines. I notice that in obese people.

I thought Branch tore a quad slipping on ice. I know Triple H (a bodybuilding wrestler) tore a quad jumping in the ring.

I remember the tricep one. Probably his quad also.

"Unevenful". I would say well balanced and no major flaws. He looked better than many of the Mr Olympia contestants of the past five years.

Alq's injury was apparently a slip on a wet tiled floor. It would be interesting to see the dynamics of these falls because there's been a ton of them over the last 20-30 years.

I remember Alq said that he was able to squat afterwards but he had to have a heavy duty string looped around his legs.... at the knees. He had to be mindful to keep the string tight as he squatted. That ensured that his knees weren’t buckling inward.

These bodybuilders must be the clumsiest people on Earth. Eighty year old women don't have as many slip and falls.
