I think the US allows an amazing amount of self experimentation, unlike anywhere else in the world. Psychedelics, weed, "peptides," steroids and on and on. There is hardly a war going on.
I've done lots of self experimentation but if a presidential appointment starts touting, for example, peptides, that's outright stupid. I though Americans wanted more oversight into drugs and years long studies i to drugs like vaccines. Many of these "peptides" have never been tested in humans ever, it's all experimental. And what the US allows in supplements is crazy, 80% are mislabeled and many contain undisclosed drugs. I mean I like it, but there are risks. What war are we talking about?

But who wants to wait 10 years to use BPC-157 or TB-500? I'm sure RFK himself has used these, along with gh and anabolic steroids, which on paper are illegal to use this way.
Who will wait for psychedelics to be thoroughly tested, LSD is studied currently with a slight alteration to the molecule but approval is years away.
Big pharma is corrupt to be sure but there is more than a slight logic to it. Russia or China doesn't allow doctors to precribe anything and everything either, and they decide on vaccine policy too.
All I'm saying is that there's lots of freedom currently in the US with drugs and treatments and it's unclear how to solve the pharma corruption due to the money involved, of course the companies operate for profit.
My neighboring country Norway doesn't even allow 1 gram vitamin C to be sold.

I don't think he'll want the alt treatment to get locked up in bureaucracy, so I doubt it will take decades for stuff like that. Psychedelics are closer than you think - certain places already allow Psilocybin use, and even in my state legalizing them (with restrictions) almost passed this past election.
RFK will bring more visibility to this stuff. He won't slow down anything from where we are currently at.

no, I had some major medical problems at the time a hip infection that necessitated two hip replacement procedures which caused a heart valve to eat way leading to open heart surgery for valve replacement. I more or less had to get the clot shot to be admitted to the hospital to get the ball rolling on the surgeries. while in the hospital I was FORCED to wear a mask during any transport for tests and etc. so what are you telling me.

I don't know if it's correct to say the FDA or equivalents around the world are at war against public health. All the doctors I ever saw stressed exercise for mood disorders and physical ailments and often resisted prescribing drugs. At the same time, the public often resists physical exercise and better diet. Doctors know this so what are they supposed to do, not prescribe the metformin or Ozempic because someone is lazy? I know 'big food' and 'big pharma' fund studies and can influence what dietary habits are recommended but I think it's also true that many scientists have actually tried to find out what the best diet recommendations are. Cholesterol probably wasn't demonized because scientists wanted to keep people sick, that's what a lot of the day's science seemed to point at as being the culprit for heart disease. For as long as I've been around it seems the recommendation has been the 'mediterranean diet' as being among the best. But then many feel this rec was just another attempt to keep the population sick and sell drugs. But what is the best diet for keeping the most people healthy? The anti-FDA conspiracy theorists can't even agree on such things as fiber, fruit, vegetables, one says these are toxins and the other says these are essential for health. One says milk is a killer only fit for cows offspring, the other says raw milk is the foundation for health. Some say carbs are evil period, whereas even some former keto carnivores have come to the conclusion that you benefir from some insulin push, for example to actually take up and not leech required minerals, so they eat some honey daily now. And if carbs are the main problem with diets, how to explain the long living Japanese who subsist on rice?

LUrker, I don't think they ever left, matter of fact I see more and more popping up.
They tried by hitting the compounding pharmacies and some of those had stopped as they didn't want to put their biz in any "danger".
(Or trouble).
But the small labs, just too many out there now to keep up with (which ones are good etc).
Theres a few Ive had good luck with that I use if I need BPC-157. But probably hard to just trust many of them.
