Post by: 1Patrick on January 06, 2025, 04:11:21 PM
Looks like Cormier wasn’t his best choice .
Let’s see how many coaches he’ll change by the time he steps on stage in March.

Pretty sure Cormier is still claiming to be his trainer. Aceto his nutrition/drug guru?

Based on Aceto’s statement Farah had no shame approaching Aceto’s clients and telling them he could get them in better shape .

Yeah, 100% this is widely known about George Farah.

I think Chris Cormier is still doing his training while  aceto does his diet

It’s Derek’s money ,but he has been competing for  a while now and still needs  Cormier counting reps it’s stupid.
Jose Raymond has been with Aceto for many  years and has said Chris is absolutely the  best in the coaching business .
I wonder what has made Hany quit.People would have  pay him his asking rate in a heart beat.

None of these fucks should even need a trainer other than a trained eye to assess their physiques periodically......they`re IFBB pros for Christs sake.   WTF ???

Fucking ridiculous.

I know a ton of fantastic guys from back in the day that just trained balls out,ate right, never missed a session, and never had a need for a trainer......at times they would critique a guy and give him feedback......that`s it and these guys won National and International contests..........for Christs sake Aceto learned from a ton of the guys I`m talking about.

Weak sauce bro.

The 'sport" sux today....I`d rather watch a top Amatuer contest.

Have to slightly disagree - Boxers / swimmers / runners etc etc
All have coaches - so are they all worthless ??   ;D

Surely a Boxer knows how to throw a punch  & a Runner knows how
to run ?

This coaching stuff is weird  .Best tennis player in the world Djokovic recently hired guy /Andy Murray/ that he used to compete  against.

Some would say with all the titles he's won you'd think he'd know how to hit a ball.
Why does he need a coach then ?

some people like to be in the passenger seat and just do what they're told and let someone else do all the thinking. remember, results come easy for guys at the "top", it's hard to stay motivated and avoid getting complacent if you've already 'been there done that'.

Can’t understand how people pay Charles Glass $350-400 /hr to show them biceps curl and tell them than 11 reps is better then 10.

How much do other sports coaches get paid to teach how to kick a ball ,
Hit a ball, throw a ball, or put 1 footin front of the other to run etc etc

Lol. Dude. You are comparing “real sports” there’s a big difference, powerlifting/weight training specifics, i undestand

But there’s really no secret to lifting weights for bbing, especially at the level they are at,  it’s mainly the drug and diet protocols, that’s it. One can train by themselves or with a work out partner, there’s no need for Charles glass to teach you about “angles” haha

Guys like Phil Heath was going to do well matter what, top genetics, do you think it would have mattered how he trained? Watch how Ronnie trains, Jay trains, Kevin, Shawn, etc… doesn’t really matter

Anyways, you are not putting up a debate as to why anyone needs to pay someone like Charles Glass absurd amounts of money to tell you “secrets” that you don’t already know about how to do bicep curls and 21’s

all the info regarding training eating and drugs is readily avaiolable at a mouse click.

Yet there are millions of PTs making money from fuckwits who have zero internal motivation to do anything.

There are no secrets anymore

I was a PT for about 20 years.........did it under the table with no insurance.....had really cheap rates, tons of clients, still made decent money.....I gave thanks daily for their stupidity.

I had some friends from the gym around the same time who I would give gear injections to.........they paid me well even though I would have done it for free......they were afraid to inject themselves, also would go to the gym owners house to buy their gear for them (they didn`t want anyone to know they were using) it was 2 blocks from my house and just for this I got 60-80 dollars at times, and these were guys I wouldn`t have had a problem doing it for free but they insisted on paying me.....also opened the gym and worked the desk a few times a week......free daily tanning, free gym apparel that I stole ;D and free MRP`s.

I had a bag in my closet full of cash all the time.

A guy like Joe (Coach) is very different as he works with fighters and teams so there`s that.

Wrong - you are missing the point completely

If other sports men have coachs when they've already reached the top
of their sport = why do they need them.

Are their coach's telling them "Secrets" for absurd amounts of money.

I'm sure all the training & secrets are out there on line for all to see
Yet they pay very good money for coaches.

My guess is They believe they need them no different to a top bodybuilder
having a coach.

Personnely I don't care either way.  ;D
