RIP.

The emphysema was very bad for him the last few years, and the wildfires and the stress from them made it worse apparently. I can't say I appreciated all his work, but on the balances, he has more hits than misses with me. I was just thinking about him because of the song posted above, and the murder mystery that goes along with its composer.

They were shot really well and he was always able tp build tension and a strange atmosphere to his movies.

I watched Mulholland Dr at least a half a dozen times. Every time I had a different interpretation of it. But beautifully filmed and mysterious even if nonsensical.

Great movie, as well as Blue Velvet and Lost Highway.

All a bit weird but very entertaining......the weirdest IMO was "Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me".  WTF ???

That's exactly what I mean.

Like Lost Highway. Loved the ambiance of Mulholland Dr.
