Chromium: The Facts and Fallacies:

I take 200 mcg per day in capsule form. But a better way to get it, which I also do, is through Brewers' Yeast, which gives you 190mcg of Chromium (not to mention selenium, potassium, choline, zinc, magnesium and a wide array of amino acids).
The article Loco posted reflects my understanding. Its advised to have sufficient amounts to support your efforts. But its not a miracle substance as many have touted it.

I took chromium 150mcg, 3x a day along with the ECA and green tea extract. I melted 15lbs of fat off my body in 3 weeks. Not sure what would happend if chromium wasnt part of that stack, my guess is that it helped alot.
Like most fat loss supplements, its not going to magically make you lose fat. But I do belive alot of them can amplify fat burning from cardio and dieting.

Awesome article, thanks for the post!

Where do you find that and in what form?

The brand I get is from Lewis Labs which I bought at Pavillions. It is a light brown/sandy color in powder form. I mix 2tbs with 8 oz water, sometimes adding lecithen. Its 15 servings per container, per serving 116 calories, 0g fat, 13g carb, 16g protein. One of my favorite supplements.

Absolutely
Pros do you use it?
Yes
I take 200 mcg per day in capsule form.
More (400mcg) would not hurt because the urinary excretion of chromium is known to increase in people who exercise.

Most notably, chromium lowers blood sugar, reduces cholesterol and triglyceride levels and increases insulin sensitivity.

That's why I take the capsule (200 mcl) along with the brewer's yeast (190mcl) = 390 mcl.

Thanks for the added info Princess. I just received my order...
-
only thing i've heard is that to get any results from it, you have to take HUGE amounts, but no personal experience. Up the cardio, thats what I'd do.

I don't thin kthe studies I have read support that... It seems like taking 200mcg 3 times per day is the best approach. It's cheap too so even if the added effect is huge, it's no big loss.

most whole food stores, and most nutrtion stores carry brewers yeast.
