When Obama won in 2008 a lot of his base voters in the primary were far leftist freaks. After he won the general election these freaks moved to the top of the party because of their early loyalty. That coupled with crazy shit coming out of the universities from grievance studies professors has snowballed to this. Now I think they hate anything normal and will fight republicans on anything just to be different.
