Yep. He was a strong dude. I competed in a PL meet with him way back in I think it was 1986 in Jackson Mississippi. I won my class and best lifter for the under 181 pounds and he won his class and best lifter in the over 181 class. He came up to me after the meet and was a cool dude. RIP

How tall was he? I am pretty sure I saw him at some bb shows in the 90’s. (South Louisiana - Mississippi area shows). But I read where he was 6 feet and the guy I remember was close to 5’9” or so. Regardless - I remember reading in the mags about his legendary strength

I would say closer to 5'9 if that. That was most likely him. He competed in BB also, as a Super HW

Thought he was around Larry Pacifco's height 5" 6-7 ish.

He was only 5 ft 7 or 170 cm
Most of those guys are short, so they try to be wide or "big"
