He hit that pose the best he could. He can't pose what his body does not allow for. Still looks good in the comparison with Ruhl.

Competed in toughest era .Late 90’s early 2000’s .
For example Olympia 2000 he has placed 7th behind Ronnie Coleman, Kevin Levrone, Flex Wheeler, Shawn Ray, Nasser El Sonbaty and Lee Priest.
Back then no 212 so he got beat by short guys.
Nowadays he would be up there with top guys like Nick .

He lacked detail from the rear and overall. He was massive and at his peak very good overall. Just the small finishing touches were missing.

Just structural and aesthetic issues. The clavicles may have been slightly too wide actually for the best aesthetics. You want a slight slope to the shoulders too, not as bunched up when relaxed. The oil was slightly overdone. Relatively small triceps.

The pics from that one NOC win are still mostly unsurpassed as far as freaky size.

The bigger the bodybuilder, the harder to dial in detail.
