I thought the Arnold payed better than the Olympia. At least in Jay Cutler heyday.

There is a article somewhere around when Joe and Ben were still alive Arnold had promised them he’ll never cross the line of paying more for his title than the Olympia title.In the last couple of years Jake Wood was forced to raise prize money .When ASC was bummed from 200k to 300k Jake bumped the Olympia to 400k ,next year it went another 100k then again another 100k .
At the moment ASC is $500k and Olympia $600k.
In Cutler’s heyday / 20+ years ago/ for $150k prize money minus taxes Jay had purchased rental property in Vegas that is worth 4-5x more now.

That is important. The 1980 Mr. O competitors probably spent all their prize money on a ticket back to the U.S. from Sydney.

That is the least of his problems. He also has a bicep tear that ruins his symmetry.
