Looking back on your life, how many things do you wish you could have done differently? What chances would you take now, that you were too timid to, then?
Or, do you have no regerts?

The main thing I wish I would have gotten into water before it became a thing. I had a chance in the early 70's but I thought who would ever pay for water. DuHHHH :'( :'( :'( :'(

I'm right there with ya, pal. I missed getting on the boat when fire was a hot commodity.

You can't expect others to bare their souls and maintain a fortress around yours.

Very true, I felt regrets in my 20’s when I was having a 1/4 life crisis.
It turns out all those problems were just stepping stones with my failed GF’s and my full time job which pushed me to later create my own company.
I feel lucky more than anything considering I was dating strippers and driving drunk back then.
The one time I got pulled over at a check point I was actually working over night.

In my life I spent most of my money on whores, booze, and drugs......the rest I wasted

I believe I’ve played my cards correctly.

I regret Shizzo not dating Shotgun Sally and eating all of the ”good chicken”

That's actually not true at all. I've been one of the most forthcoming people on here, over the years.

Quite a lot to be honest a few I can’t do different for example I regret spending 15 years of my life with so done but wouldn’t have the kids if I didn’t. I really wish I’d got on the road to saving and investing a lot earlier in life. Id have spent every minute I could with my dad after his cancer diagnosis but I didn’t as had no idea he would only last 5 weeks.
Also I remember when goodrum got his bitcoin and told us all too and we laughed and mocked him and assumed it was another one of his hare brained barley escaping poverty schemes, someone even made a coin with his face on photoshop, looking back we all should have listened haha every getbigger could be a millionaire now if we did

Sounds like hes back in his fucking car

Almost everything I regret. I would have done everything differently.

That must be a great feeling.

I was told when younger about you only regret the things in life that you didn't do, not what you did. And I took that to heart. Whatever I wanted to do or try, I did 100%
I never had a midlife crisis but I had something similar when I turned 60 (like,, "holy shit, am I really??")
I looked back at my life wondering if I felt that it went OK and I was able to see it all in perspective and YES my life has far exceeded my expectations for myself. Basically because I didn't have any.
So now at 65 I can look back with that satisfaction and joy but life is rougher now. In terms of loneliness and having to say goodbye to my only close people that I love. So that's kinda sad. Now I see why people have kids (I didn't)
But I just got a puppy?

Waiting for the OP to spill his guts before talking about my own life.

Investment tips from Goodrum have proven to be more lucrative than investment tips from Hankins.

When you’re going to be gone for 2 hrs and come back home your dog will go bat shit crazy happy like you were gone for months .No family member or friend can duplicate that.

I wish I didn't waste 12+ years with alcoholism.
I should have picked a career and looked to advance that career,
Instead of being content with little responsibility.
I wonder how my life could have changed if I would have had a family.
I'm going to be 44 in a few months, and have the feeling that I've largely wasted the prime years of my life, just satisfied with "getting by".
I guess it's the prime example of the cliché statement: hindsight is 20/20

Do you have a job now?
Are you in a relationship or looking to be?
How long have you been sober?
