I follow his channel closely and believe a fair amount of what he says. Seems pretty knowledgeable. I feel things have improved for me since I got on 10k vitamin d per day (other than my diabetes which was my stupid food choices fault).

Guys a quack, he contradicts himself. He's a chiropractor not a real doctor.
He is no more knowledgeable about what he says than anyone doing their own research

He has other people do his research. That's why a lot of his content contradicts itself.
He's definitely no Jerry Brainum.

He is a Scientologist.

He is a Scientologist.
Yeah I looked him up too. My brother watched his videos and I wasn't overly impressed, and the Scientologist thing is not a positive sign to me. Not to say he doesn't say some good things as well. But there's lots of pseudoscience in his vids, theories are fine but you gotta be critical.
Regarding the D dosage thing, they recommend blood tests if taking over 5K a day and I'm sure it's a good idea but for me that's too complicated to get done regularly. I got these 17K mega-dose caps (one every 2 weeks according to bottle) and take a couple every few days, kinda stupid way to take it tbh. Someone on a steroid forum said a bodybuilder should take 30K a day with vitamin K because enhanced bodybuilders "go through a lot of it." Another said he needed 30K a day to get to high normal, but then other said they have good levels at 4K. Too much is of course very bad, Phil Hernon claimed lots of bodybuilders would get kidney failure due to the vitamin D craze, but he's no doctor obviously, just a bb, but he had kidney failure, doubtfully vitamin D had anything to do with it though. Just relaying what he claimed. Looking at supps, I saw some 200K caps sold lol, one cap to be taken every 2 months. Now I'm again thinking my caps don't have the vitamin K, there's just too much to be mindful of to remember everything :D
I've seen it stated that 10K is what the body can produce in a day if out in the sun some, so 10K "should" be ok to take.
If low I'm sure it could be pretty anabolic to raise levels, and there are some studies showing increased strength and gains in lifters with D supps. Besides the immune support and everything else. My main reason for taking it is the immune part, with my history with swine flu and covid. I take Zink too with this in mind, if noticing first signs of flu I take a big dose immediately, about 100mg elemental, supposedly the only proven way to limit the duration of illness. Zink is also toxic if using to excess.

He said in one of his videos that instead of using prostate medication such as finasteride, men could drink tomato puree sauce because it contains lycopene :-\

10k Vitamin D is too much.
5k is about as high as you should go.
You can have your Vit D level checked to see if you are deficient which probably the way to go.
This says up to 4k:

Well obviously it depends on the individual. 5K max if not doing periodic blood work is the rec I've seen, also seen 4K frequently, and a few are against any supps at all due to foods like milk already being fortified. It may not be enough for ideal level sometimes 8)
Even Fauci said vitamin D supps may be a good idea, if I'm not mistaken he might have said 2K and a couple of grams of C.
Like I said, 10K is what the body can synthesize naturally per day so some claim that's still generally safe and some data has backed that up.

Not only a Scientologist but one of their biggest donors. He and Grant Cardone compete on who can donate more to the church and they hate each other.

Eric Berg is a back-cracker extraordinaire. I say we listen to him!

Amazing. First you pay out the ass to learn the secrets of Xenu and the volcanos and the B-52s and then you donate large sums ??? ::)
-
The knee-over-toes guy is a Scientologist too.

Berg is a good start with keto but he is very wrong about the veggies, 100% carnivore is the way.
Watched lots of his videos while I was doing keto/ketovore
I've been 100% carnivore for 18 months (only plant that I've had during this time is 2 cups of daily coffee), no supplements. feel best I've ever have
-

10k is a good dose.
Would be interesting to see your vitamin D levels next time you get labs done.
Blood levels greater than 50 ng/ml or 125 nmol/L is where the 'magic' truly happens.

Expenses wise, would you say it's cost less eating this way?
-

They have plenty to donate. A lot of their business probably comes from other Scientologists because of their clout in the church.

Most days its 6 eggs and 2-3lbs of 70/30 ground beef + some cheese. $20-$30 per day? I will have a nice $40 steak couple of times a week. Could go cheaper ground beef, I get decent one from wholefoods
No more expensive than standard eating out American diet
On the go I can grab patties from just about any fast food. In and out being my favorite. 15 patties for like $25
-
he leans on pseudoscience for the most part
occasionally he will cite a real scientific peer reviewed study but mostly he blends in a bunch of pseudo BS
he's just another grifter on youtube trying to make money on sensationalism and clicks
