AMD has announced that its key processor chips will soon be produced at TSMC’s new facility in Arizona, marking the first time AMD’s products will be manufactured in the United States. The news comes on the heels of AI giant Nvidia announcing it will produce AI chips and supercomputers in Arizona and Texas.

 China has been playing the long game for a long time. American politicians and ceos cant seem to see much beyond the next fiscal quarter. Its going to be one hell of a game of catch up. The demise of american manufacturing began in the 70’s im not sure we can recover that particularly with American’s appetite for cheap shit
