I found some old magazines from the 40's in an antique store last year. Can't remember what they were but I do remember they were very popular bodybuilding magazines at the time from what I read online later. Homoerotic too so I put them away when someone came where I was. The guys were oiled up and looked like what you would think a realistic natural bodybuilder would look like. Then there were some who looked like Mr America and that's when I realized how naive I was about steroids during this period. They were on something for sure.
