Worse was probably Boyer , Second pic is probably the best I've seen them. The best maybe Dennis Tinerino or Shawn Ray

So how did Tinerino train his abs?

J/K obviously.

But many retards actually ask these questions, all the magazine articles were built around that question.

Sean Ray had a six set of abs. I think Ronnie‘s looked a lot better when he was a lot lighter Phil Heath look like trash. I’m surprised nobody’s put up Alchim Albrecht. I think his are top notch if not the best. I remember when I started getting into bodybuilding, the magazines, muscle and fitness back in the day I remember not knowing much about symmetry proportion, etc., but I do remember he had a six set of abs and quads. He was marketed a lot with the mega mass, etc. stuff Sean Rays  were sick as fuck too. I like to flexes as well.

Mike Ashley’s were great my only complaint is it did have quite a bit of separation between the abs. Bob Parises were good. Momos were great.

I think Ron Teufel won best abs five consecutive years in the AAU Mr. America contest.  I remember seeing a Muscle Builder magazine cover of Pierre VanDenSteen displaying incredible abs.
Those guys really stood out to me.

Two great picks.

Nubret had good abs for golden era. Franco had good abs, his oblique tied in to his serratus and abs giving him a good ab pose.

For the mass era Paul Dillet had good abs.

I think the very best have all been mentioned Pastel, Priest, Tinerinno, Makkawy,  Tufuel, Bill Grant.

Alot of people say Zane but his abs looked weird.

Yes. He had great abs.

But he had pretty mediocre arms and a relatively short career. Which is probably why he gets overlooked.

Was he one of the guys that went over to the WBF?

I always thought Mike Quinn (when he was in shape) had underrated abs.

Boyer Coe - I mean he probably knew more about ab training than anyone, he just didn't have them, genetically. I bet that poor fucker tried every ab exercise under the sun.

Honestly, some of the guys known for their aesthetics had lousy ab genetics: Zane, Dickerson.

Even Paris, who had great asthetics, only had a fairly average 4 pack.

Robby abs were so so, great serratus/oblique though..
