Very interesting fight I think. How do you see it going?
-
for me dubois has notihng more than a punchers chance
usyk is simply too clever a boxer
fury is evasive and usyk caught up to him
usyk in 8

Probably right, Dubois lacks head movement and footwork.
-
Usyk stays out of trouble by boxing early and breaks down a tired Dubois around 8-9 rounds.
-
I'm going to see tomorrow at Wembley stadium.
Couldn't give two shits, my gf is dragging me.
£68, waste of money.
-
There's no reason to think it will go any different than the first fight. Minus the low blow controversy.
Dubois has probably improved. Closer to his physical peak while Usyk has gotten older and can't maintain his form forever. Though he is more skilled than Dubois and Dubois hasn't fought in almost a year and has defensive lapses.
Im guessing Dubois will give a better account of himself for the first 6 or 7 rounds but Usyk will start catching him clean and put him away nonetheless. Im guessing round 9 or 10.
-
Dubois has already "won" by TKO, so he knows to go to the body. Hey, maybe 38 is the end of the road for Uysk.
Still, Uysk by LR KO or UD.

Whaat!? Cool girlfriend.

If Dubois ever has a chance, it's now. Usyk is coming off two grueling fights with Fury and he's getting older. Can he get up for Dubois again? He's due for a less than perfect performance one of these days, right? As for Dubois, he's bigger, younger, been in there with him, has to feel some confidence that he can hurt Usyk and looks to have improved because of the Usyk experience. All that drivel aside, I can't pick against Usyk. I think it will be a tight decision win for Usyk but the fight will take a toll on Usyk going forward.
-
God, I hate Dubois. I highly doubt he's even allowed to live alone without a support worker. I will kill myself if he wins. I hope Usyk literally tortures him in there and makes him quit again after all the bullshit about the low blow.
-
Here we go, Raymondo I can see you looking miserable.
-
Dubois is the dumbest c u nt ive ever seen. Jesus Christ
-
Goodnight Dubois you thick cringe worthy sack of shit
-
Congrats Uysk!
-
Usyk brilliant...but...I personally think Tyson and Foreman would have overpowered him.
Ali and Lewis jabbed him senseless, late stoppage.
Holyfield 50 50
-
He fights best with spite in him, well done to Don Charles for lighting his fire. He increased his power and his feet were quicker too. Poor Dubois will be regretting shouting "and the new" in his face.
-
Uysk is mentally strong, he just wont allow himself to let anyone get inside his head

He was out for revenge and had spite in him, not just a calm head.

Dubois seems mildly retarded at interviews.

his workouts are ridiculous in fairness

60% of the crowd were Ukrainians, they must come from all over Europe. A couple of Ukrainian ladies I talked to next to me were coming from Spain (fantastic asses). Good to see Ukrainians happy, posing with their flag outside the stadium etc.

The kid knows only boxing and has a very domineering father who apparently decided quiet early age that his son would be a heavyweight champ.

If M-uysik is not man enough to "finish" Dubious a getbigger will...

Nice knock there by Usyk!

No. He lost. Lol. Preposterous. Guys only moment of not getting the living shit kicked out of him was the split second he landed a low blow. That's your "winner" ? roflol.
Even if it had been ruled a legit punch you are assuming :
1. Usyk wouldn't have gotten up
2. Dubois would've finished him off if Usyk had gotten up.
Far from winning anything.
I suppose you think DDD won yesterday too by successfully ramming his face repeatedly into the fist of Usyk? He has certainly beaten Usyk at the number of times he's been on the mat of the boxing ring.
Please. The loser and still champion. I remember very clearly when he beat Joyce too. Joyce's hands took a beating that night.

wE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER uSYK HAD NEARLY (oops) 3 minutes to recover from a legitimate body shot, but we'll never know if Usyk could've beaten the count.

look at me im dj181 hijacking a thread for myself with no relevant information ::) ::)

How long he stayed down is not indicative of whether or not he could've gotten up. Are you dim?
If you go down from a shot (low or not) and you see the ref calls it an illegal punch and allows you time to recover. You take the time to recover, as much as you want.
Holy fuck.
Can u imagine in the superbowl the ref calls X yard penalty on holding or pass interference or roughing or pulling the face mask or any other foul, and the team benefiting from the call declines the yardage? What sport on earth would you see anyone refuse the advantage of the ref's decision and subsequent penalty?
The ref called it low and Usyk took advantage of it, like it or not.
But it was IN FACT low as the ref indicated during the preflight instructions the line which he would deem a low, blow DDD didn't complain then. So he and everyone watching knew in advance what would be called low.. and yet.... here you are, still struggling to figure it out two years later.
-
There were several low blows in that fight.
Dubois did not learn any lessons from the first fight, I am amazed how his camp does not integrate proper head movement and footwork in to his program.
-
ro makes a good point
sadly in todays sports and society people want instant money and fame. dubois is a big lump and can bang- he was a phenomena at mateur level because of this- I think he had 75 fights and won 69 of them. because he is so freakishly strong he could steamroller people. AJ was the same.
due to this they rarely do thousands of hours footwork and movement drills. when they then comeup against an Usyk or even a fury who I dont like but his footwork and defensive skills are undeniable, they are left wanting.
Usyk is a phenoman as he has the intelligence to adapt in every fight he susses out oponents quickly then takes away their advantage and walks them onto shots.
he is exceptional.
but lets have it right he's not an all time great. yet.
Joe Louis had 25 consecutive title defences over 12 years. he is a great.
Vladamir K had 17 - he is a great.
there are many different metrics. for me Lewis was the best. ever.
In fact top 10 times.
Lewis.
Louis
Ali
Marciano
Jack Johnson
Dempsey
Kltiscko
Holyfield
Foreman
Holmes
I know i've probably forgotten someone!

Exactly right - Anyone with good eyesight could clearly see it was a low blow.
Usyk could've got up & beaten the count if he'd had to.
Either way it wasn't like Dumb Dubois went after him for the win.
He got knocked down & quit & did the same in 2nd fight though had he not quit
He'd of definitely been knocked out for the count.
Usyk in a totally different different league.
WTF is Moontrane on about ? Think he's lost his marbles.

What Usyk has accomplished in such few fights is remarkable & definitely
Puts him as an all time great in my book.
