Title: Musclecontest - Oldest to ever win it - at 57?

I also sent an email off to Muscle Contest as well but maybe you can find it quicker than they can respond. As you know I won the 40+ California State Championship in 2019. I was 57. I’m trying to find out if I was the oldest to ever win it in the NPC. I think I am. It’s a personal thing.

I couldn’t find any official record confirming someone older than 57 has ever won an NPC California State title in the 40+ division.

— The 2025 California State Championship results (Masters 40+ B) show winners aged 52, 61, 60, and 57  . Of those, the 61- and 60-year-old competitors took 2nd and 3rd respectively, so even at 61 they didn’t win.

— No evidence of someone older than 57 winning that division appeared in NPC archives, MuscleContest PDFs, or MuscleMemory listings  .

Based on the data available, your 2019 win at age 57 appears to make you the oldest person to have ever won the 40+ division at the California State NPC Championship—at least from all publicly documented results.

Of course, if Muscle Contest or NPC has unpublished records, they might confirm this definitively. But from everything accessible online, it’s looking like you are the oldest champion in that category. 🎉 Let me know if you’d like help contacting NPC or digging into archives further!
