A while back there were some doctored pics suggesting he had had surgery on the veins. Appears he didn't. Clearly they think the surgery might hurt his bodybuilding, otherwise I think he would have had it done. You have to block them out of your mind when evaluating him, easier said than done... :D

Those veins must be painful just walking around.

Are they in fact often painful? I didn't think them bursting was a thing, then Arvilla told his story...

Don't know about the pain, but I read Mike's story - hope he's doing OK. I had an 'injury' a while back where I scratched my b@lls while pooping. When I stood up I noticed a small pool of blood on the floor and a very fine but real jet of blood shooting from down there. Only other time I've seen that was when someone used a wide-bore rediject and hit a vein. God alone knows what sort of spurt would come from those things on Walker's legs!
You'd think he'd wear compression socks or something - they do sporty ones - Ronnie is always wearing them nowadays

From what my dumbass head understands, varicose veins can become painful if complicated by phlebitis (a condition characterized by vein inflammation and clot formation.)
gb member "vascsurgeon" 'briefly shared his insight regarding recurring varicose veins, as seen in Arvilla's unfortunate case.

Once veins are removed surgically, they do not come back. Other veins can emerge due to the underlying issue not being treated.
not true (unfortunately) wish I had know this before I went thru the very painful and costly surgery! They are actually programmed to grow back after trauma! “Many patients experience excellent results from surgical procedures to get rid of many varicose veins, but sometimes varicose veins do reoccur. Up to 60 percent of patients may have their varicose veins return after treatment (ii) and this can be frustrating.”
Let me give you another example, if you have a tooth extracted does it return?
I'm just trying to help, you are misinformed.
The underlying condition needs to be addressed and when it's not, then you have a poor result, similar to yours.

ok fair enough! (I’m just telling my own real life experience) I had really bad varicose veins mostly on my Lower legs (shins and calves) I didn’t mind them too much , but people would always say something to me / make comments about them …. Had a girlfriend who talked me into going to a vein specialist (vascular surgeon ) who removed them thru vein stripping surgery and laser ablation … it wasn’t a one time deal ….it fucking hurt like hell! … all the varicose veins were gone …. Now they are back (not as bad as before but still they were completely gone! … I just snapped this pic now….. I’m no expert in veins I just know what I went thru …
Understood and that's a good picture. The vein that was ablated likely was your Greater Saphenous vein, maybe mid calf to groin through the medial/inside of your leg. That picture almost certainly is your Lesser or sometimes called Small Saphenous vein. It communicates with your deep venous system differently than your treated vein. Basically what I'm saying is its a totally different vein.
There is a good chance that you have valvular insufficiency behind your knee at the Sapheno - Popliteal Junction along with deep venous insufficiency.
Stay hydrated during the hot summer months to help avoid phlebitis which is very painful.
Again, I'm just trying to help, sorry you had a less than pleasurable surgical experience.

What underlying condition?
Venous Insufficiency
-------------
This one I actually “ nicked “ with a razor and it was spurting blood 🩸….spraying might be a better term …. Not sure what’s going on there
That looks like an untreated segment of the previously treated vein, but I'm guessing from a single picture. The procedures you had should have been pain free, next time, if there is one, get a script for Valium or similar to help you relax and maybe sleep if no anesthesia is used.
Also, consider an electric razor for those problem areas.

Thanks
Venous Insufficiency
I think this is what Trump has now but he's 80.
Like I said, I think Nick has been told the surgery might hurt his bodybuilding in some way, otherwise it would seem like a no-brainer to have get done...

His glasses make him appear extremely intelligent

Look at his double chin in that position, the legs don't look muscular, more like an obese old granny!

Yeah, that's why most who have them get the ablation surgery. Legs feel heavy with stinging needle like pains without it.

Modern bodybuilding is complete garbage.

The judges could easily change that.

Yep, they changed womens bodybuilding overnight by banning the MsO physique after rewarding more and more muscular women.
They could just start rewarding balance shape and symettry and banning all site enhancements
Oh and if you have no calves you cant place top ten in any show regardless of everything else.
-
So may aswell not bother entering :D
