I would like to see what the guys on the gear are doing at the gym..
-
Work out the same but you are on gear. Hard, intense, good form, lots of discipline.
Roids are just a factor in the equation. Nothing more.
-
If you are using roids you should train every bodypart 4 times a week with minimal rest and high sets/intensity/excersize. A good routine to try out is what Arnold did but double that because the drugs of today are more powerfull.

Increase the volume and/or poundge for your normal workout.

Alexxx,
Are for real, or a joke? I am guessing a joke! And I “may be a little man on sauce” but I would never think of advising someone on something I know nothing about.. Stick to your training and what you know for your age..
-
Ok I shall explain for you little men. Once you take steroids your body is in a constant anabolic phase and doesn't even need mucch nutrition to keep the blood sugar there. Now since you are anabolic and little girl gymnasts train 6 hours a day.. it is safe to say that you big juiced up bodybuilders could do the same ;)
-
alexxx...stay out off the steroid board or get a needle & some test & start preparing for the Mr. O. ;)

As I thought, "a joke"....

Talk about hijacking a thread..

Is that a picture of you because you look like a tool. Stop talking in this forum if you cant contribute some pertinent information. You dont have to prove to everyone that you are an ignorant clown

you mean alexx doesnt juice ?? im impressed!
lookin at his belsen-esque herculean physique i assumed the c'unt was megadosin with 10 grams of bulls bollocks per week right into his scrawny arse!
iv rolled f'uckin joints bigger than him hahahaha ...loser!
-
Eat More and Work out the same, just every week your lifting weight will increase.
-
I would like to see what the guys on the gear are doing at the gym..
They are doing what most people do.
Only with more intensity and lifting heavier weight (hopefully).
I have seen some guys using gear who push some pretty pathetic poundages.
Kind of a waste.
DIV
-
Every body part four times a week no rest?? Alexx is insane. Rest is a crucial point in bodybuliding. Ive seen guys though at the gym doing this kind of routine....you know the ones that look like marathon runners.
I use the same workout that i use always. Each body part once a week.I just go heavier and maybe throw in an extra excercise here or there.
-
The best part of the 'Anabolic Workout' is measurable increase poundage workout to workout. ;)
-
My overall workout remains the same while ON.....HOWEVER....I add sets.....and the weights i use climb each week (if on bulk cycle)...for example while off a may do 12-14 sets for chest....while ON i can easily handle 16-20

what about number of reps. While off I usually go with a 4-6 rep scheme to positive failure (Max-OT)
while on, I tried the same routine and the poundages become difficult to manipulate and my joints were screaming.
Should I change rep count when I'm on.

4-6 men a minute? :-\

here is what i do..a la duchaine
i take a calculated jump in the weights i use (20% or 30%)
after that any increase is in the amount of reps.
when i come off only the # of reps i do with the now 30% more weight goes down. (reps go down..weight stays same)
soooo...the tension on the muscle remains the same. ie i keep most of my gains.
thankyou! i'll be here all week.

This is perfect!

u r welcome! 8)

I train using the same principles, but I don't worry about overtraining as much. When off, I'm cautious not to do too much volume. I'll do maybe 3 work sets per excersise. While on, if the mood strikes me I might do a 4th or 5th set. I might throw in an extra excersise. Stuff like that.
-
train the way that makes you feel comfortable.
I workout almost everyday. I not there to try to impress people with
how much i can lift, but i did get my incline bench up to 375 this week ( i know its not alot but for me it is ) I would have the nice body look like i do.
im big, cut and it looks nice.
but everyone has a different way of what they want to look like.
so go bust it out at the gym and enjoy the changes.
-
I personally like to train with higher reps while on gear. I've read that increased testosterone levels inhibits collagen sythesis. i just train high reps (15) with short rest times (1 minute) to avoid injury. Does any of the more experienced guys have any imput on this?
-
I like it ill do the same on a couple of days of the week

I see your point, Junaid.
I just don't think it's that easy for everyone.
To constantly progress there needs to be more involved than a simple 30% give or take on poundages, otherwise there is no constant progression in overall strength.
The point is to keep gaining on or off, not to remain the same.
Plus you have to figure in muscle fiber type of the individual and what lifts are beneficial to their physical dimensions.
More facets than a simple formula.

30% seems like an awfully large jump in strength to me. If you are benching 300lbs for reps, a 30% increase would put you at 400lbs. After the next cycle you would be at 530lbs and benching 689lbs after only four cycles. If this were possible why can so few people bench this much.
If someone were making 30% strength gains it seems like the most important thing would be to try to keep those gains. Also, if you guys are making 30% gains, what are you taking?
-
i dont bench..never have..i do dips and incline dumbell..
-

Fine, squats then. If you are squating 400lbs, you would be squating 520lbs after your first cycle and 676 after your second. By your third cycle you would be squating 879 and your fourth cycle would be a world record and you would be doing this for reps. What you are saying is not possible.

You're missing the point.
He goes up 30% on cycle, but when he comes off the weight drops down so even if he keeps some strength he's not going up at those increments every single time.
Something has to give, either the weight or the reps and most times it's some of both.

Common sense would tell him that humans are not machines....
You don't go up 30% on poundages every single cycle, regardless of how much AAS you use...
Even IFBB pros don't jump up that much from cycle to cycle.....
The human body wants homeostasis, otherwise there would be no cap to size and strength.
DIV
-
30% is about right for a jump in strength. Sure it won't be every cycle you do you'll get this kind of increase, with.but I'm sure that whatever increase you get that you'll be happy.

what i posted ws a general guideline

30 percent that is crazy dude. anyways i usually keep my routine the same train hard everyday on gear or off. Of course more intensity while on . Never keep workouts that same switch it up so you dont get bored. I add 5 pds every month to my bench press and it works in one year i have added 40 pds to my bench press which is great. on gear 4 to 5 times a week is more than enough to make gains.

You clearly say that when you come off only the number of reps goes down, NOT THE WEIGHTS!
"Weight stays the same" - you say
Now you are saying that you didn't say that. You lying sack of shit!!!
Are you completely insane.
Some people come here to learn and discuss. You're ad hominem attacks aren't just counter-productive they are stupid and prove without a doubt that you are an idiot. A lot of us give weight to first-hand accounts of experiences other bodybuilders may have had. When you make up shit for some insane reason (loneliness?), you are really doing harm to these people.
If you are lonely, then join a gay chat board, sissyboy. Maybe they will be impressed when you tell them about your amazing gains.
And div, re-read his post please, you obviously didn't understand what he said
