I enjoyed his movies.
Seems he was a NIMBY environmentalist.
"Outside of his film work, Robert Redford was also a keen environmental campaigner.
In 1975, it was announced that a power plant would be built in Utah, where he was living at the time.
Describing this as a potential disaster, Redford invited CBS News' 60 Minutes to the state to discuss the issue, which resulted in the plans for the power plant being scrapped.
"Anytime anybody voices a concern about the quality of life that we're going to be leading we're called environmentalists. And if that's so, I am an environmentalist," he said during an interview on the show."

Whats a Groyper?
Nick Fuentes, look him up

Half the state of Utah is now up for sale. RIP to a great actor.

So, I think he was a decent dude and all but when I read about his passing on BBC all these famous people pouring in “we’ve lost a titan” and “great man” etc. Do they really feel this way or is it something famous people do so that when it’s their turn to die everybody jerks them off the same way?

RIP. Great actor. I enjoyed many of his movies:
I think one of his last movies that I watched was All Is Lost (2013). Very good movie.
The Sting, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Jeremiah Johnson are all rewatchable.

He touched a lot of people in the industry and was widely respected and admired by his peers. Notice how long his career was; he has literally been working from 1960-2025. His career was longer than the lifespan of most bodybuilders. Any of you under 50 will never grasp how big a star he was. He was well past his "prime" and not even the leading man, but he had everyone talking in 1993 with his turn in Indecent Proposal. Who wouldn't spend a night with RR for one million dollars? That question was batted around (in bars, at parties, at work, etc) and inspired similar questions for a least a year after the movie came out and it only mattered because, despite his age, he was still considered attractive back then.

Anyone who calls themselves a baseball fan has seen The Natural multiple times.

J. C. Chandor is a great director.
Yes — I love movies with minimal dialogue that still keep you completely captivated. It’s not easy to pull that off. Steve McQueen was a master at it, and Ryan Gosling does it brilliantly in Drive.

It's mostly hyenas with a big ego.

If you're bored, give "Three Days of The Condor" a watch, it's a great spy/man left out in the cold mystery. And it has the fantastic Max Von Sydow as a main villain, he was always great in those roles -
.
RIP.
