I haven't looked at the data and am not qualified to really judge it anyway as a non-trained non-scientist, but I see a lot of pushback on Trump's proclamation. And I thought vaccines were to blame anyway, as Trump said to Kennedy a while back, "vaccines are very good but too many are very bad and cause autism," LOL. What constitutes "too many" in Trump's mind is anyone's guess. I know Tylenol is considered the overall safest pain killer in hospital setting for example, at least here, and I've always gotten a gram of it every time they've given me an oxy, to potentiate the effect. Just don't go over 4 grams in a 24 hour period (I think that's considered the safe limit).

I am still imprressed Donald Trump is claiming he invented the word 'caravan'.
even though...
The word "caravan" comes from the Old Persian word kārvān or kārvān, meaning "group of travelers" or "company of merchants," which entered European languages via Italian (caravana) and French (caravane) around the time of the Crusades and the Ottoman Empire. The term initially described a company of people, animals, and goods traveling together for safety, particularly in desert regions, and later expanded to include vehicles that transported them. In English, the term was first used in the late 16th century.
Tracing the word's journey:
Old Persian: The word originates in Old Persian as kārvān, referring to a company of travelers, especially merchants.
Middle Persian: This word also appeared in Middle Persian as kārawān.
European languages: During the Crusades and through contact with travelers in the Ottoman Empire, the term was adopted into European languages, such as Medieval Latin (caravanna) and Middle French (caravane).
English: The word entered English in the late 16th century, initially referring to a group of people and animals traveling together for safety, particularly in desert areas.
Modern usage: The term evolved to also describe the vehicle used for carrying people and their belongings, leading to the modern use for camping trailers and processions of vehicles.

I've heard that statement by Tylenol doesn't mean what is seems to mean. I can't figure out what those people are talking about. Is tylenol saying they don't "recommend" anything, they just provide a product? Seems like Hankins-speak

What does this mean? What did you hear? The post was take. Out of context?
This is the Twitter post: We actually don’t recommend using any of our products while pregnant. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns today.
Here’s what I find interesting that Trump and Kennedy said, that the Amish have no cases of Autism. Is that true? If it is why? Or do they have children with autism and it’s not diagnosed?

I wish Trump would come out against suicide.

What is the recommendation for pregnant men?
-
Tylenol is perfectly safe for pregnant women and their unborn baby.
Acetaminophen = Tylenol
"Acetaminophen is one of the most commonly used analgesics and antipyretics. Although relatively safe at therapeutic doses, acetaminophen poisoning causes hepatic necrosis. Acetaminophen toxicity is the second most common cause of liver transplantation worldwide and the most common cause of liver failure in the United States. Responsible for 56,000 emergency department visits and 2600 hospitalizations, acetaminophen poisoning causes 500 deaths annually in the United States. Notably, around 50% of these poisonings are unintentional, often resulting from patients misinterpreting dosing instructions or unknowingly consuming multiple acetaminophen-containing products."

What's that supposed to mean? You're implying I 'liked' Biden? Come on man. I think Trump is a clown, I'm biased that way. He wanted to take credit for 'warp speed' so bad but then was sort of agreeing with Kennedy that 'too many' vaccines are bad. He can't be blamed for anything, won't take responsibility for any 'failures,' so maybe it's not a reach to think this Tylenol link helps him avoid some of the vaccine blowback.
Are you a pregnant woman ???
Yes I realize it may come across as I'm saying it must be safe for pregnant women too. It was not my intention, honest LOL. I don't know if there's a causal like between Tylenol and autism. I already put so many qualifiers in my posts so as not to be misunderstood but I missed here. I was just commenting generally on its assumed safety profile by the medical establishment 8)

I have to state the obvious and say the dose makes the poison. It's "very liver safe" up to a point and then causes life threatening liver toxicity. I've been taking 4 grams of Tylenol for a couple of weeks and I've taken a gram of acetylcysteine with every gram of Tylenol, might be a sort of insurance by keeping liver glutathione up.

Whether or not it's linked to autism can be debated, but I've now seen several stories of pregnant women trying to prove Trump wrong and are now hospitalized for taking too much Tylenol. TDS is real and people will go to great lengths to prove it.

Taking Tylenol during pregnancy associated with elevated risks for autism, ADHD
A Johns Hopkins study analyzing umbilical cord blood samples found that newborns with the highest exposure to acetaminophen were about three times more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder in childhood
Nov 5, 2019
A new study from researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has found that exposure to acetaminophen in the womb may increase a child's risk for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or autism spectrum disorder.

The guy didn't offer any clarification, but I investigated a bit further via AI and the claim is apparently this means not to just take it if you are pregnant but discuss it with your doctor. Some are claiming this is a distinction that matters, but I think it actually concedes the point that there is some risk that should be discussed with your doctor otherwise what is the point.
What is the risk you'd find acceptable to have an autistic kid? 10%? 20% Even it was less than 5% wouldn't you just avoid it unless absolutely necessary?

You would think you would avoid it if there was any risk but there are still pregnant women who smoke.

People can argue and obfuscate all they want for political purposes but it's pretty hard to argue that there is no risk with this showing Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Mt. Sinai, and Columbia research:
-
What is the recommendation for pregnant men?
A straight jacket and padded room.

What is the recommendation for pregnant men?
Just take 2 Aleve®!

50–100 g should help.

Just ask AI. There’s been a federal lawsuit going on about this stuff since 2022. Big money involved as always.

Lots of drugs say don't take when pregnant since it hasn't been investigated and judged safe. I saw that docs say there's a risk running a fever when pregnant also so you have to judge based on that, what is likely more harmful. I've mentioned pregnancy and folic acid a while back and I think RFK now talked about a form of folic acid to take when pregnant to avoid autism and so on. I've seen the claim frequently that the autism diagnoses have gone up due to more screening as well as a broadening of the definition of autism.

And govt benefits being tied to the diagnosis?
Seriously how much do you trust the medical profession at this point when it comes to anything politically charged? It’s so hard, lots of amazing stuff being done for cancers and operations and even the GLP weight loss stuff, but also pushing way past sawbones into politics.

Is it a boy or girl?

OK, this is where they're going off the rails. The whole autism/vaccines etc bullshit was debunked. Thoroughly.
Not to be confused with the c-vid Vax which is an entirely different animal altogether and problems with that vaxx are a separate problem. Being anti-vaxx doesn't necessarily mean you're anti-vax. If you catch my drift.
Sighting the Amish, especially anecdotaly is laughable. Have the Amish even heard of autism. You know what else the Amish don't have? Heart disease, cancer, emphysema, COPD, erectile dysfunction, auto immune diseases, I could go on. If you get sick and NEVER go to a doctor, and never get diagnosed of course you'll never have anything except for people who 1. Die of old age or 2 People who die suddenly. Lol.
Fucking A citing the Amish as a basis for any argument around medicine is really not a good look.
I have said many times let me make my own decisions when it comes to doctors, treatments and medicines. Don't force me to take some bullshit Vax but don't restrict options that could be helpful.
Honestly, when it comes to illnesses, odd behavioral disorders, mental illness, hormonal imbalances, we are fucked, all the micro plastics in our food and water, all the antibiotics, all the pollution, I mean I don't even know where to begin. Just look at the typical teenage boy today versus 100 years ago, or even the typical 20 or 30 year old. I mean there's definitely something in the water that isn't adding up.

I'm wary of all information from all sides. You could make the argument, rightly or wrongly, that this autism-Tylenol link being raised now is also political. A certain someone is always after "wins" and accolades and trying to deflect from other issues. Like I said I don't, at this time, know where the truth lies on this specific issue. Lots of conspiracy theorists are wary of the GLP-1 drugs too as I'm sure you know. The pharma companies might be burying and concealing side effect data from the drugs as they have so often in the past with other drugs, so we are left to do risk vs reward assessments ourselves. If I didn't have pancreatitis I would be on GLP-1 drugs, probably retatrutide, right now even if I didn't want or need to lose weight. Now there's going to be combo products with IGF-1 signaling effects to actually increase muscle mass instead of losing it with e.g. Ozempic 8)
