BBC has a good break down of the sentencing, the judge doesn't like Puffy at all. Sentence was middle of the road, but still more than the 2-2.5 years many were predicting.

Will only have to serve 85% of his sentence plus time served. So yes. 2 years. Diddler got away with it.

He is all but guaranteed to end up in Clinton correctional facility in the appu unit, which is where they put all of the high profile inmates across the state (that's where Tupac was in the '90s).
Not only is this only about 45 minutes from where I live, but I actually have a few buddies that work there as well, and I work there myself for a short while when I was a rookie.

A PPU inmates are completely segregated from general population as they go to Chow when there is no other scheduled movement and even have their own yard for recreation.
