Was thinking about Democrats/progressives/liberals who left (so to speak) the party/ideology. Not to necessarily become a "Republican" or conservative, but clearly realized the party and values they embraced are too far left. Some notable names that I can think of:
President Donald Trump
President Ronald Reagan
Tulsi Gabbard
Elon Musk
Leo Terrell
Michael Rapaport
Snoop Dogg
Joe Rogan?
My prediction is Bill Maher is going to get red-pilled at some point. Don't know when, but he is well on his way.

Has nothing to do with todays politics, but when Bill Clinton realized during his second presidential campaign, he was going to too far left, at least he was smart enough to bring it back more towards just center-left. That helped him win that second term. Today, we have leftist radicals that openly call for violence

“To me, this is logical fallacy 101. Just because we weren’t ready or didn’t like the candidates, Hillary and Kamala, doesn’t mean we’re not ready for a woman.”

I think a woman with some logic, common sense and a solid backbone could step up. I don't really see it happening any time soon though.
