Title: Would the IFBB do it?

Would the IFBB rig this years Olympia so that Ronnie loses and has to put off retirement for one more year so that he and go out on top? This would add needed drama and controversy, which the IFBB needs since all the talk seems to be about PDI. Anyone see this as a possibility?

If they were smart, they'd do this or retire him now.

But my money's on them plugging away with blinders on.  Give him the NINTH and talked about ten straight.  In the meantime, RJ, VT, KK, and LP will be battling it out with a few other mid level former IFBB-ers for the PDI crown, and it'll be much more interesting to fans.

I believe it is, so thats why I wouldn't be surprised if they pull some type of stunt that will get the boards talking, to get the spotlight off PDI and on to the IFBB. In all honestly I would rather see the first contest PDI puts out, than to see the O. PDI might be the best thing that has happen to bodybuilding in a long time. It speaks volumes when people like Chick and Shawn Ray have to put the PDI down. It shows me they fear the PDI and it's possible success.

Based on the pics of Ronnie I've seen here on Getbig, I'm expecting him to retire before the Olympia like Dorian did in '98
