Interesting, but I figured you'd get a pillow in the shape of Brian Healy Wood Hankins to snuggle with

Joe: Have you ever used a water filled pillow before? A chiro recommended me one years ago and it helped when I used to get neck pain.
-
No Lindell MyPillow?
Hammer and the Scorecard!
-
Good luck. The lead orthopedic here prescribes pillows like that to many of the patients that are having labrum/rotator surgery, shoulder fractures and excessive arthritis. The majority dislike the pillow because of the elevation it has once your arm is tunneled through. There is a company here that buys them back and other things like wheelchairs and knee scooters.

He should be waking up soon if he hasn’t already.
Curious to hear how it went.

Just get a waterbed.

Just get a waterbed.
Are those even made anymore?
-
Pillows have huge profit margins. Get them at the lowest price possible
-

I haven't seen one recently but I'm sure someone still makes them.
-
Coach, if I purchased the pillow, can I come over and cuddle with you?

I am indeed someone who has had incurred a shoulder problem this year and has had major issues with sleeping and that is absolutely what happened to me using a tunnel system. You can get very shallow ones that don't add massive elevation but it didn't really work for me and I tried a few wedges and all sorts but that was a big fat fail on that.
I envy anybody who can change the way they sleep - it has been incredibly hard to work through. I sleep on my stomach predominantly and the shoulder is probably more pivotal than any other sleeping position. Of course, I tried to get away with switching to falling asleep back on the back but try as I might, that isn't happening. Though I will wake up quite often on my back. Just will not work for falling asleep.
I've basically muddled through with a combination of sleeping a lot more on the other side, occasional side sleeping, occasional back sleeping (possible later on in the sleep for the final portion) and quite strangely, the other thing I've found is that basically doing the arm out but elevating the hand on a pillow actually might be better than the tunnel. I didn't read that anywhere, I just sort of found out that elevated arm works better for me. I do that with my better shoulder all the time.

He hasn't posted an update, so it appears the pillow is winning. No surprise there.

This is Coach’s new pillow and he likes to hug and kiss it

Coach! Where is your review and feedback? Or did something happen to you with the pillow?

Last night was the second night and like the first I’fell asleep just fine but I’m staying in one position I started getting achy in my back probably from the elevation. You just can’t roll over to the other side without repositioning the leg pillow to the other side so you’re basically stuck. I have bad shoulders but it actually felt good not putting the side pressure.
Reading the pamphlet, it says it take about a month to get used to. I’ll go with that and give it a shot. At this point I’d give it about 3/10. For $300 I hope gets better

There's a joke in here somewhere.....

I have a Nectar mattress/pillows that are memory foam. The memory foam really helps to eliminate pressure points like shoulders and hips, and equal the load across your body. It's the best mattress I have ever slept on, and comes with a 365 day money back trial if not satisfied.

I used to be a stomach sleeper up until a year or so ago when I started having neck problems from a blown disc. I started sleeping on sides because I absolutely can’t sleep on my back and now my shoulders have been bothering, to the point I’m just going to pay for an MRI on both because I am not going through a bunch of PT just to finally get one. Keep me in the loop if you find a solution.

Try putting your arm straight out as if you had your arm in a tunnel like the pillow but do not use a tunnel and instead put a pillow next to you so that your arm/hand is elevated. Can't guarantee it will work but I checked and it's what I'm doing on both sides (good and bad)
