Why do you have to post long videos - why not say whats going on & then maybe post

Here are some of the key policy changes in Denmark’s immigration regime:

In January 2021, then-Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced that immigration must be limited so social cohesion would not be threatened.


Residence permits for refugees are now almost always temporary; permanent settlement is harder and takes longer.


Family reunification rules have become much stricter — for example: both partners must usually be at least 24, have passed a Danish language test, not have claimed welfare for a set period.


Specific housing/neighbourhood policies target so-called “parallel societies” (areas with >50 % non-Western background).
In those areas, social housing is to be reduced, and family reunification is restricted.


The policy aim at times is explicitly articulated as “zero asylum seekers” (or as low as possible) for Denmark.
