Money will be made.
-
A bit strange considering he already lost to the much lesser Fury.
AJ beat Klitschko who was still pretty good at the end.
49 year old Klitschko would destroy him today..

Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua
Dear diary....
-
.
I think Paul has paid AJ off and the fight is a work. Paul would have no chance if the fight was legit.
-
I know nothing about boxing really but looking at the take of the tape Jake Paul should get waxed.
-
If...IF the fight is not fixed, that little white dude is going to get raped.
-
.
Doesnt matter if he wins or loses, Paul will make a boatload of money, and so will Joshua.
For example, Tyson got 20 Million USD for fighting Pake Jaul.
-
my thoughts?
I think I’ll watch it… like the rest of u marks
-
If its on the level, AJ should knock Paul out in a round or 2.
FFS Paul was supposed to fight Tank Davis a few weeks back. Tank is a fucking lightweight. That fight was scraped because Tank is a retard and fucked it up by getting arrested or some other legal trouble.
Now he's taking on a recent heavyweight champion? Give me a break!
Like Nat said- money will be made. I never really cared for AJ. He always seemed like a front runner. He lost his confidence after that fat Mexican knocked him out and he's been a headcase ever since. Embarrassing melt downs in the ring, Embarrassing losses. But if there is any legitimacy at all to this match up, Jake Paul will get slaughtered.

every time I’ve seen aj fight he seemed somewhat uncoordinated.
not totally uncoordinated, but just a beat too slow… to fully maximize his physicality.
kind of annoying, actually.

If AJ doesn't blast him out in a round its fixed
Any hungry young heavyweight would destroy Paul
Hes a fucking Youtuber not a fighter
-
In a proper unfixed boxing match As much as I dislike him AJ would knock that idiot
Out in the 1st round - 2 at the absolute maximum.
As if Boxing isn't Fucked enough already with 17 or more different world championship belts
Now its this kind of Farce going on.
Clearly there are umpteen millions of morons who will pay good money to watch such utter
Fucking nonsense.

AJ will be warned not to damage the problem child too much.

It was faker than WWE. He got paid to lose.
-
this has to be a game
a strong heavyweight would kill paul. as in kill him. look what AJ did to Francis.
-
Just a scam to get some money
-
Fake or not,I hope Jake Paul dies.........I hate that fucking twat.

This is the thing. Both Joshua and Paul don’t need the money. It’s a legit state sanctioned fight meaning if they find it’s a fixed match both camps would be in big trouble. IMO, Paul goes down early. This is one of his first real challenges. But to be honest, what turned out to be just fixed entertainment events, Paul has turns into a legit fighter

It would be nice to see him KO'ed.

i respectfully disagree
hes had one live fight- tommy fury who beat him. and tommy fury is piss piss poor.
-
Anything other than total domination by Joshua means the fix was in. It will be another garbage event, but I will probably at least watch clips of it :-\.

I`d love it !! :D

Yes, he has turned into a boxer. A pro boxer at that. He's had the money to afford himself the time to dedicate to training, he's purchased himself a solid group of training and conditioning coaches, and he's fought other semi/pro boxers in paid spectacles. So , you are correct that he has turned into a pro boxer.
There are pro boxers all over the world who range from guys ranked 394th in their division with a record of 3 wins and 12 losses and there are pro champions who are 30-0 and at the top of their divisions. Its just hard to say where Paul falls in between those ends of the spectrum.
Mark Gastineau and Mickey Rourke were pro fighters with decent records on paper (I think Mark was 15-1 and Rourke was 11-0-2) but a closer look revealed Marks wins were against the worst caliber of opponent and the slightest step up in competition got him embarrassed and knocked TF out. While Rourke's fights were a total mess, sloppy, more like wrestling matches and at least one of his opponents took a dive.
I think Paul is better than Gastineau or Rourke, but another spectacle Butterbean Eric Esch would likely have K.O.'d Paul. And Butterbean was never considered a real contender, more like a fun sideshow.
And you are correct: if its sanctioned by the state athletic commission-especially if there's betting, Vegas odds and money involved- and it turns out to be fixed, thats a federal racketeering charge. Guys with far less notoriety, with less money on the line have been charged with racketeering for fixing fights. So it better be legit.
And if it is, Paul is in for a very bad night. (Aside from the multi millions he'll make)

Man, people used to make fun of Butterbean because he was fat but that dude had some serious KO power and for his size his conditioning wasn’t terrible. He was legit

Agreed whole heartedly. Paul is crazy to take this fight. It won't be fixed. Paul will get stopped early. Paul is still a legit fighter. He just should not be fighting guys bigger than him. He takes the sport seriously and lifts a lot of fighters up by being on his cards.

It’s already bought and paid for
