Man I`ve binged on the Sopranos all 7 seasons,watching 'OZ' now, as well as 'Boardwalk Empire',watched all of 'Task' on the recommendation of my man Abe G. (thanks Abe....great show),and started back watching 'It,Welcome to Derry'.
I had HBO and Max eons ago but only watched movies since I`m a movie freak.... and 'Band Of Brothers' which was just Ok in my opinion.

On IMDB it`s called he greatest series ever made...........into the 2nd. series, episode 6 thus far.

Haven't watched this in over decade, but I don't remember season 5 being bad. The season on the docks was a little slow, but still very watchable.

Excellent choices, Wes. I enjoyed The Wire and The Sopranos a lot. It is hard to say which of these two shows is better. The wire is more noir and gritty but the sopranos is more artistic and cultured. Both top shows in their niches / genre.

The Wire is the best show HBO ever put out. Deadwood might've had that crown, but it had a good, but it didn't have a fully realized ending.
The Deuce is a great short series, and The Corner is a well. The Wire is a fully fleshed out, and multidimensional version of it -

It's on youtube for anyone that doesn't get HBO.

The Corner is amazing and the only reason The Deuce to me isn't the GOAT is that it's only 3 seasons. Pilot episode of The Deuce might be the best pilot ever.
