There may be something wrong in my heart that I haven’t been aware of until now. And God sends me a difficulty that brings it to light. His purpose is for me to let go of it. Isn’t that for my blessing? Trials reveal what is in my heart and bring it to light. When this happens, difficulties are seen in a new light. God’s purpose comes to the forefront.
When difficulties arise, test us, and worry us, let us simply say: God is sending them to me. What is His purpose for me?
The moment the heart recognizes God's presence, everything is changed. It submits. It finds itself in communion with God in its circumstances—even if they are painful.

Pashtun culture, I think that's the group if I'm not mistaken. I've seen it explained that most of these can't read and never read the Quran. There's nothing afaik condoning pedophilia in the Quran, unlike the Jewish Talmud for example. You know other Islamist cultures throw homos off buildings. Whereas in Israel they brag about their Pride Parades and how Tel Aviv is the HLBTQ capital of the world. But yes, the Afghanis are disgusting but it's also disgusting that the US military was told not to interfere with this "culture" when they were there.
