I slightly chuckled at this guy at first because it seems like a ridiculous premise to speak about yourself on TV, but the guy seems like good dude in a tough spot.

I am always surprised how well my sexual anatomy functions when I am performing my conjugal duties, it seems like its performance is disjointed from this lack of drive you mentioned. I think it's better like this than the opposite situation.

This is a good point and very true IMO. Good appetite is another indicator you probably aren't deathly ill. I know if I have zero sex drive, which is boosted over normal by being on HRT+, I know something is wrong.
One funny thing I remembered regarding illness and the genitals. Apparently if your balls hang extra low it might be a sign you have a fever, the balls are trying to cool off by trying to distance themselves from the body LOL. I rarely have a fever so haven't been able to confirm this 100% :D

It's not a guaranteed indicator of course. But let's say your appetite goes down dramatically, particularly if there is some nausea, not so good signs. If a PED user notices this it might be a sign of liver or kidney or other issues for example. In some disease states you might be given appetite stimulators and or anti-nausea pills. Sort of unrelated, but I've noticed most good bodybuilders seem to have above average appetites. Not always but IME the big guys are always talking about food, which isn't so strange of course, they're big! :D
