You would think it wasn't, but I don't absolutely positively put it past him :D I mean he called Somalis garbage with no redeeming qualities, no one else would have said something like that even if they thought it. I didn't take offence at that as I feel much the same :D
Edit: Lewitt initially ridiculed the outrage at the post, nothing about it being in poor taste and a mistake.

Well, I stretched the statistics to make my point but Obama had consistently higher approval than Trump and, yes some Republicans but mainly independents liked him a lot. The statistics below show Obama’s high water mark at 69% and his lowest at 38%. Trump has consistently been in the 35% to 45% range, maybe slightly above 50% for a couple a fleeting moments, and one of those recent moments got him the presidency (2024).
Barack is pretty well liked in retrospect, and his wife Michelle is extremely popular.
