I mean, they have a certain athleticism. And its competetive. Strength and technique obviously play a role.
But I'd make a few changes....
It might be improved on if they oiled themselves up first and then stepped into a glittery thong prior to the contest.

Ridiculous and pathetic. At a certain point, this stuff just becomes coercive and tasteless. Degenerate scumbags like Dana White and the people behind this should be held to account, as this is nothing more than the infliction of serious harm for the gratification of brain-dead spectators.
In my opinion, the principle of consent needs to be limited where it involves the exploitation of obvious retards, and where serious and lasting harm is practically guaranteed, as it is here and with Power Slap.
Both of these stupid spectacles contradict the underlying principle of all martial arts, which is to protect oneself at all times. And seeing the crowd of drunken apes jumping up and down in excitement just makes me glad that I'll never (hopefully) have kids.

It's asking for injuries but I'd actually be quite interested to see how a rugby player vs a rugby league player vs an american football player and maybe a ...I dunno ...one of those guys who plays that Italian contact football - to put them up against each other and see who'd come out on top.
I'd even throw a soccer player in there for shits and giggles.

NFL players are padded up with shoulder and head protection. Rugby players are more used to these kinds of impacts without all those aids. I am not sure the would do that well compared to these blokes in the video.

Dana White said he believes Power Slap will become bigger than the UFC, you just watch. I don't know what the hell he is thinking. Absolutely retarded and dangerous.
Guaranteed brain injuries as Phantom said. People think it build up over time so they can do it for a while and still walk away fine but I think brain injuries can occur with the first slap. Power Slap is extremely boring too IMO. And is Dana completely shielded from being issued a mass-suit eventually?
Though I was always curious how I would do on that Gladiator run through a few dudes holding those padded tubes or whatever it's called. They had helmets on and you didn't pick up speed from afar.
