Check this movie out.
The acting is not great but a very interesting storyline.

I recommended that movie for the Getbiggers a few years, ago, STILL one of my favorites!
No need for CGI or ai in that one!

It was cheap to make as well, no need for fancy locations/travel :)
One of my big time favorite movies of all time.

Provocative and interesting story.
Recommend.

The original was horrible so it shouldn't be hard to top.

Are you comparing it to "The Man Who Fell To Earth"?

No, I thought The Man From Earth was an 80's original but I can't find the movie I was actually thinking of.
edit:
I just looked it up and The Man From Earth was the movie I was thinking about but for some reason thought it was from the 80's and had John Ritter and Wilford Brimley in it. Senior moment. :-[

Thanks. I watched it and found it entertaining. I also checked out the sequel, which came out ten years later in 2017. It was interesting too, though I didn’t love the ending. The lead actor has clearly aged over that decade, which made the time gap feel more noticeable. It might have worked better if the sequel had been set just a year or two after the original, with the supporting cast aged accordingly.

Sequel (Holocene) is crap compared to this one, but THIS one is EPIC!
