this guy is clearly intelligent he sees the exact same observations I can do in modern society.
when women are no longer dependent on men by work of feminism and thus affirmative action in the work field this happens. Women choose the top 10% men and society goes to shit.

It was better back when the parents chose the spouse. In some societies this still happens. In fact I know a pro bb where this happened for him basically.
I may not be completely serious but it may have had many advantages.

Leaving women to their own vises would 100% demolish the nuclear family. It would lead to harem like societal structures where few % of men breed with many women and most men go without and just live as slaves basically. And that is where the west is heading with feminism

you know just because some things where done in past times a long time ago doesn't mean they are bad necessarily. Same as all progressive/liberal things we see are not automatically good/better/improvement from how things where done in past times.
I remember a Swedish writer/publisher I listened to sometimes said in a interview that (i paraphrase)
'being conservative is simply to understand what things are worth preserving and what are not and that is it'..
I think that is quite profound and also simply logical and true and how it should be.

Modern liberal idea is you fall in love, then get married. In the past you grew into love.
