If you are leaning out and your bf is getting very low, then yes, you will lose some strength. You're not eating enough calories to support muscle growth, you're not eating enough to keep the body from burning some for energy. The key is to find a stable level of calorie intake per day so that you can preserve as much muscle as possible. If your strength has been cut in half, you are probably not getting enough calories. Any time my bf gets very low, some strength is shot, I can't give you an exact number, but I'd say in the neighborhood of a 20% decline in strength.

damn bro thats alot, yeah ive been running a healthy diet, and even better since the blood pressure thing, getting pretty ripped... but losing no so much strength, but not able to do as many reps...

what the fuck are you talkin about, look at yourself you fat fuck

jamie i see no reason why you should lose any muscle with just a diet change. at your composition you must have been either a) not exercising enough or b) eating way too much (including eating junk food). its that simple. you shouldnt lose strength until you're closer to 10%

like i said, im not losing strength, mainly reps... and i'm not losing any size at all except for losing bf...
