How come the IFBB doesn't do national level mixed pairs competitions anymore? I thought they were a great showing of male and female muscularity.

I used to like the mixed pairs but I just think it lost popularity.
Jeff & Cory were pretty good.

The answer's pretty simple. The women started to look so much like men most people complained that they weren't interested in seeing two queers posing together.

Some events - like the Emerald Cup - still feature mixed pairs competition.
I must say, back in the day, this was a very popular event.
