Title: From personal experience, what are the drawbacks from using Winnie?
Post by: Havenbull on May 18, 2006, 07:56:22 PM
Does it outweigh the benefits?

That's a personal question, something you'd have to answer for yourself after you try it.

For me, it's great because it provide the kind of explosive muscle torque that I need for powerlifting.

The drawbacks are that like most 17AA orals it decreases HDL.

It also can cause the joint tissue to become brittle in some people.

It also can cause severe cramping in some people....

I only get abdominal cramps from Winstrol, no other AAS.

I used the tabs before- they just made my muscle bellies look fuller and I was a tad bit more vascular- my joints did not hurt anymore than usual- no stomach or internal discomfort. I like the stuff

I like it, towards the end of my cycle.  I like to run it with deca to counter any joint issues (and, as always, with test).

I always use Winstrol in a Test/Deca cycle.

It counteracts the progestin sides from Deca and it's infamous joint stiffness tendencies are nullified by the Deca.

It's a perfect combination.

Could the Winnie be the reason I am getting cramps in my calves and hams?

Could be....

I have no idea what else you are taking.

Stupid question to ask me without giving any details.

Ive had great results with winnie on a cutting phase but used test with it.  I did have some cramps the first 1 or so then they went away.

Winnie the Poo...I love it!   ;D

No one has yet mentioned injection site pain.  Winny can hurt a little.  I like shoulder injections combined with B-12 but it sucked before a shoulder workout.  Delts were already in pain.  I don't know that I ever got much out of winny either.  Always did it with deca and test.
