Title: Anybody uses a 5 day training

I split my routine between 5 days............right now i do  :

Monday -  Chest, Abs
Tuesday -  Back, Calves
Wednesday - Legs
Thursday - Shoukders, Traps
friday  -  Arms

What do you guys think?

similiar to my routine mine is,

mon-chest-traps
tues-legs-calves
wed-shoulders-traps
thurs-off
fri-arms
sat-back-calves
sun-off

wow...Identical to mine! except calves is on arm day and abs is on chest, back and shoulder day. i think you made a mistake there truly. ;)

anyways back on this topic...yeah man that looks good to me....personally i need the off days in the middle of my routine....if tris are sore on chest day or shit like that i get pissed off so i like having the secondary muscles nice and fresh for max poundages on the primary muscle. works for me.

for years i always used a five days split after time i started to always be tired from it so ive done 4 for last two years and felt great.
my old five day was
sunday chest calves
monday back abs
tuesday delts abs
wensday off
thursday bis tris abs
friday legs forearms abs
sat off
sunday repeat
now i do
monday chest tri
tuesday back calves abs
wensday off
thursday delts bis
friday legs abs

my trainnnig its exactly as your first one, and im thinking to change exactly to the 2nd one!!!  :o :o :o
monster coincidence!!
i think maybe im a little overtrained because i do lots and lots of sets, and sometimes when its friday and i have to train biceps, they are a little sore from the back day on tuesdays...

i do something similar

mon -chest and abs
tue-back and calves
wed-40 min cardio-abs
thur-legs
fri-arms-abds
sat-shoulders and calves
sunday- 40 min cardio

Diet NEVER changes but on an off day i don't even think about treadmills or dumbells.

I was bulking but now im where i wanted to be so im just slowly cutting. so now my overall diet has changed from what it was a month ago but i don't change anything just because its an off day from training.

I am back on the classic split..

Day 1  Chest, Biceps
Day 2  Legs
Day 3  OFF
Day 4  Shoulders, Triceps
Day 5  Back
Day 6  OFF
REPEAT....

Abs are trained every other day.  Cardio is MAX OT, up to 3 times per week now.

Sometimes I turn that into a 5 day split to bias my arms, with Biceps and Triceps being trained on the 5th day (and not on the other two)...

thanks bto...what would a typical diet look like?  How many carbs on off days?  Seem pretty knowledgeable, very intrigued....and on your days off, you are completely lazy?  Isnt that incredibly hard???

every meal should have at least 20-40 grams of protien some moderate carbs and some healthy fats. Off days do whatever you want, i just choose to not do any cardio or weights at all....i'll maybe through a football around or go to the lake or just go to work but my meals don't change. I still take my preworkout meal even though im not going to workout. 6 meals a day equally spaced out (about 2-3 hours apart) and you'll be fine.
