Pro Bodybuilding Weekly (PBW) is the freshest voice in professional bodybuilding. Its popularity continues to surge as thousands of new fans tune in every Monday to listen to its live, worldwide radio broadcast. This made the decision to accept PBW as a sponsor of the 2006 BSN-BodyRock an easy one indeed.
PBW is presented each week by MuscleTech and co-hosted by executive producer Dan Solomon and pro bodybuilder Bob Cicherillo. Solomon comments on their decision to sponsor the BSN-BodyRock “Pro Bodybuilding Weekly is committed to supporting events that help raise the bar in the fitness industry. We are excited to be a part of the [BSN-BodyRock.] This event has become a jewel on the NPC contest schedule.” PBW co-host Cicherillo will be on hand to serve as the celebrity emcee of the event, scheduled for July 8th.
PBW has already been recognized by every major industry publication for its role in providing a new platform for bodybuilding athletes and fans to follow the sport. BSN-BodyRock promoter Steve McAdams relates, “Bodybuilding has long been an underground sport. The more media outlets we give it a chance to voice itself in, the faster it will evolve to ‘above-ground’ status. This will increase the popularity of professional bodybuilders and thereby make their livelihood more rewarding. With its growing radio presence, PBW is making a huge step forward in this direction. It is therefore a perfect fit for sponsoring the BSN Body-Rock.”
