gregg is a freak show who knows he's a freak show. he doesn't try to be anything but that. people act like he's casting bodybuilding in a negative light, but that's not true any more than the guy in the jim rose circus who lifts weights with his nipples and ears casts powerlifting in a negative light.
people can tell the difference between valentino and flex wheeler. not only that, but because valentino looks as horrendous as he does he's a poster child of steroid abuse, while there are still people who would believe that ifbb pros don't use at all.

Liberalism was "invented" by Adam Smith, and has developed into throughout the centuries.
Hardcore liberalism is basically what libertarianism is about. Minimal governement.
Read Robert Nozick.

This guy pretty well always keeps it real regarding steroid use.
So after the TLC "The Man with the Exploding Arms" show came out, he ripped apart Michalik.
My question is: why did he not only NOT rip on Gregg Valentino, but actually praised him for being hilarious?
In the past year, I can't remember seeing anything in mainstream media which put steroids in a less favourable light.
I think John lost some credibility here, defending his MD buddy when Gregg did a horrible disservice to steroids and steroid users.
Yes, he most certainly lost credibility with me. Valvolino came off like a jack ass. Although I'm sure it will be blamed on editing....... ::)

Some of you guys have no reading comprehension skills. I just read it again and Romano seems to be making the point that Valentino is by far the better anti steroid message to kids, not the idiotic things Mechalich was saying. And yes, Valentio is funny - funny looking and funny sounding.

Didn’t Romano use to come to your board? I saw him post couple of posts there and suddenly he disappeared. Anyway, MD has the top guys writing for them Chad, Hany, Gustavo, Charles, and lot more they are the best magazine in my opinion. It was good to know greg’s story but maybe not the way it was narrated I think he could have said it in a more decent way with the same facts.
I also think having PDI in the mix is very beneficial for the players. He bashed the IFBB cause he has seen a lot of wrong things and he is taking about them, so that aint a bad thing.
Steroid will never be legal. Ephedrine and pro-hormone got banned by the white house just to fortify the presidents campaign. So it has been known to be bad and it will take more than a century to change it. In other terms: go with the flow and don’t bother
