Still, I think although Flex is smaller, he looks better than Ruhl...and thankfully, a contest isn't judged on one pose: and Flex OWNED him from the back!

I agree that piture is taken of Flex natural,anyway Ruhl looks fucking incredible its a pity he cannot match the old Flex who weighed 243 pounds in the 99MrO,Superior proportions and flow to Flexs physique.
Indeed Ruhl is massive at 280 contest shape but it would be nice to see Ruhl lose some of his contest weight and come in really hard with conditioning and fullfill his potential.

Post by: Mobil on June 08, 2006, 10:03:22 PM: in that same contest flex placed much higher then ruhl(its hard to believe).. ruhl does present the X frame in that pic though... even though in most poses he looks really blocky, but in that one he has very wide shoulders compared to his waist with a very large quad sweep

The problem with one shot it that you are not sure in the picture whether Flex is done with his pose or if he is just starting or ending. That is why there are many other poses - because someone may have the greatest chest, and the worst back and legs. Or not be symmetrical. Still, many people prefer Flex's physique because that is something attainable to them, whereas Ruhl is just out of this world. That is one of the biggest debates in the industry, whether or not a smaller framed and lower weight pro bodybuilder can get a fair shake in the face of a heavier, more muscular bodybuilder. Do you compete on muscles or symmetrical, conditioning or hardness, and so on.
