yeah but what about that 800lbs. he deadlifted for two reps right before the olympia last year ronnie said no one else would do it.

Same what you want about Ronnie but I get the impression the enjoys working out. He doesn't just punch the clock. Granted he was lifting for the camera but he looked like that is what he loves.

Ronnies amazing. That his joints can handle that weight at over 40 years old is mind blowing. I notice he trains at a hardcore gym and not a bright, shiny chrome and steel place like the rest of the training dvd's I have seen the pro's make.

yes, ive said it before and ill say it again, Ronald will leave a HUGE void in the bbing world whn he retires. hes such a character in so many ways, whose going to replace him?

Shariar is very strong, but I doubt he could lift that much. I wouldn't be surprised if he could do 700 though.
Thats surprising, he is bulit like a small powerlifter.

Question, if Ronnie failed on that 2300 pound legpress, how the hell would they get it off of him. You would probably need four big guys to quickly strip the machine, as it does not appear humanly possible to pull the weight off of him. The man is a Cro Magnon man. I don't think we will see his like again for twenty years. He is a once in a generation as far as size and streingth goes in the bodybuilding arena. Johnny Jackson (?) is a strong bodybuilder in the upper body, but I don't believe his legs can compete with Coleman. I would love it if Mariusz P (The Polish Strongman) took up bodybuilding. He is one seriously sick individual and I bet you his muscle density in shape would be a thing of beauty.

What would be cool is to have Ronnie train for strength and not bodybuilding. Then he and Mariusz have a competition in GYM lifts. No strongman stuff because Mariusz Pudz would have a too huge an advantage.

Ronnie lifted at the Golds Gym in Rosslyn (a northern Virginia/DC Gold's) did 800lb deadlift and at this Golds the Free weights are on the second level...supposedly there is a 400lb limit and no drop rule...of course Ronnie did them for sets...and of course he dropped the full800 (flecks of the ceiling were falling down) ha ha ha...my friend said all the staff ran upstairs "what the hell!!?" well they saw Ronnie and that shut them up real quick.

uhhhhh his range of motion is not much more than pat robertson doing the 2000lbs., but still impressive. :D
