Title: Benchpress max

The max i can go for right now is 300lbs. 3 reps. What's yours?

Yes bench press is the typicle muscle bears excersize.

Benchpressing for a max only counts with proper technique.

If I'm not mistaken you have to let the weight rest for a second (or a bit more) on your chest, and then push.

Otherwise it's not a max.

I can do the bar with a spot on a good day. Kinda scary though. I was thinking of getting a bench shirt. Any good brands out there?

345 with no spot, he was close just no touching the bar. I weigh 178 and could probably do 385 on a good day.

best ever was 320 for 20    singles  who cares  idon;t wear a bench shirt and thats all that seems to matter these days
