286lbs. Better then Phil Heath? I don't think so ::) Bigger is not always better. He does look good for a mass monster type bber. He still has a small waist which is hard to come by at 286lbs.. So props to him..

i know he's 10 weeks out but for as lean as he looks right now, theres barely any muscle separation at all....really weird.....thats why guys like heath and rich jones look better, way better separation

The dude is big, but not aesthetic. Phil Heath would eat him. Not even a finalist at the Mr. Olympia. Gunther is by far better.

Dude has some serious guns, but no "Wow" factor, just another big dude. Phil's got him, if Phil is in shape.I think people don't want Phil to win, so they are grasping at straws, who is the guy to beat Phil. Well, your gonna have to get a time machine and go back and get a vintage Flex Wheeler, circa 1993, other than that a crisp in shape Melvin Anthony at 229, would do the job.

He's already qualified for the Olympia, isn't he? I know there were some rule changes in 2003 (Top 6 at the Olympia, instead of top 10, qualify for next year's O, modification of lifetime qualification status for former Mr. Os, etc). But I thought that the overall champion at the IFBB World Championships (aka Mr. Universe) qualified for the following year's Olympia.
That's been the case, since the inception of the Olympia, itself.

I got your point, but his back is on of his strongest points. Don t worry about the line-up, he is extremely wide, he beat 22 former world champions at last years world championships also he settled a record as he won the IFBB world championships and the overall on his first attempt.
Don t forget, that on the most muscular picture, Dennis is 10 weeks out from the competition, that shape is not far away from his offseason shape as he is lean all year around. He gets extremely shredded come contest time.
Now to the comparision with Phil Heath. Why are you guys always putting one athlete down in order to push another? I remember, not long ago when Lift posted the pictures of Phil and everybody said that he was average and did not believe in him. Now all of a sudden Phil showed up in phenomenal shape and everybody jumps on the Heath bandwagon.
Heath is a very complete athlete, and he can be put in the same category as Shawn Ray, Flex Wheeler, Melvin Anthony,etc. At his very young age he already won 2 pro shows which is extraordinary and he has a bright future ahead of him.
Now Dennis Wolf belongs to the category of athletes with a larger frame like Cutler, Martinez, Coleman,etc, but he has the big advantage, that not only he has is very massive for only 27, but he also has a very small waist and good proportions/aesthetics for such a big guy.
Ì`ve seen nearly every pro in the last 5 years live on stage, and I can tell you that Dennis has tremendous potential and he will show it come contest time.

Depends what the judging criteria are. If they want size and width, than he'll beat Phil heath.
But i dont think that you can compare the two. Phil is what the IFBB, and most fans want. He IS the future. Dennis will probably have a good career in bb. I dont see why he couldnt do as well as Ruhl, or Gunther.
Calves need some serious work though, and Goudy has him beat on whiteness.

I have read he is 180 cm which is 5'11. Where did you read he was 6'1? You might be thinking of somebody else.
I know sometimes you avoid posts wshen your sources are questioned, like when someone asked if Ronnie competed in powerlifting and you said "He's competed", but when they questioned your source you were mysteriously absent from the remainder of that thread. ;D
Yeah, I remember that thread. Has got to be at least a year ago, good memory bro! It was an interview with either Brian Dobson or Ronnie Coleman in an old muscle magazine, and since I couldn't find it and be specific, I sorta tried to fade out of the thread, hehe. There is also another great difference between him and others. He´s a monster and has a waist you will actually find at black bodybuilders. Now this guy is very heavy and has a x frame nobody can currently beat. So he can`t be compared to Fedorov, Kallbach etc. Only sizewise.

If there is enough muscle, and there surely is, than the colour of your skin changes when the muscle is pumped up.
You can see this "phenonemon" at Jay Cutlers last DVD. And it appears more drastically if you have absolutely no colour.
But you can only know that, if you know what you`re talking about. That means you`ve to train and you must have enough muscle ;D

It like someone who is looking down at him took the pic. that waist is easily 34+, but at 10 wks it is a tighter waist than what we are used to seeing from mass monsters.

top 5 in europa, this guy aint in Heaths league, hes good but he wont be great, definatly a consistent top 10 guy at the olympia in years to come but thats it, hold me to it, no way this guy bothers the Jacksons and Heaths of the sport, geneticlly he cant, dont believre your hype people, i said Heath would win this years shows easy after seeing him at the nationals and hes the 4th best out there at the moment behind Coleman Cutler and Jackson, in my opinion.

Arrr NO ,they are just like any other bodypart.The thing is that most have lame calves genetics.
If you got bad genetics for some bodypart then it will always do problem ,look at Kamali and others.

Then you would know that that two weeks out his going to loose a lot of weight, his arms will come down everything will get smaller, and yes his waist will be tighter, but he will be not be able to do damage, maybe 3 yrs from now...
and as a Euro competitor in bbing you should know that it is hard to peak, and if you competed in Europe then you know that the N.A. bbing more genetic diversity..your dealing with different bodytypes than in the Austrian Cup. With 23 yrs of bbing and powerlifting under your belt, you should be smarter than to overhype someone...instead say he looks good and wait and see.. there is a huge list of people that have been overhyped from Europe.. Ruhl came basically out nowhere without much hype, that should tell you something.
Freeagain posted pics of his mate that was doing the 2003 Australian show, it was 9 wks out. Dude looked huge, arms were the size of most people thighs, but come contest time, dude was a much smaller version
of himself ( due to dieting), and placed low...

That explains why Wolf is entering the Europa. But, when (and why) did they change that rule? Was it in 2003, when they reduced the number of qualifications spots at the Olympia for the next year's Olympia from top 10 to top 6? I remember a lot of Universe class winners (when there was no overall title) debuting at the Olympia, including Roland Czurlock at the '94 O (who won his class at the Universe in '93) and, of course, Ronnie Coleman at the '92 O (who won the heavyweight title at the Universe in '91).
When they brought the overall title back, all the class winners got pro cards; but only the winner got the Olympia qualification. I don't see why the IFBB would change that rule, as it's been around since the inception of the contest itself.

In his first competition as a pro he`ll probably don`t beat Heath for example. But I`m sure he has Mr. O potential if he improves his muscle quality. Wait and see, everything else is a waste of time.

I don't think thats backne. It looks more like freckles or sun spots. He's genetically predisposed to it, look at him, white skin, blonde hair etc. He can't tan, if he tried to he would just get burnt and develop more freckles.

Guy looks great for the 10 week out time period.Only thing I don't care for is the lack of decent calves on the man.Of course being 10 weeks out he will be bigger than when it comes to the day of the show itself.However, let's say what if he never/hasn't learned his body enough yet to come in bigger/fuller than what he has presented so far contest wise?Way too many variables in this to figure in in regards to work ethic/diet/drugs used in his prep towards this contest.

the shots i've seen of his back, it looks pretty good. but i hope he doesnt use that stupid bronzer that makes him look like a robot that most of the european guys use.
