Shamrock should call Vince McMann because he is in the wrong sport now...He was good for awhile but now is just DONE...

shamrock would have been a legend if he would have retired at the end of his prime but now people will remember him now as the old man who keeps getting beat down by ortiz over his pride and a feud

shamrock should just stay home and spare himself the embarrassment

Shamrock should have stopped fighting years ago. He was a warrior, but he's past his prime in the UFC. Tito is overrated and has been beaten in humiliating fashion, but he's still good enough to beat Shamrock.

Tito has no chance to beat him TODAY as the title of the thread states. When they fight in TWO weeks, Tito will beat the living piss out of poor old Ken. Tito won me over on TUF3, I always found him entertaining, but he worked really unselfish with those kids, showed he was a good person. Ken, on the other hand, seemed like half a retard.

Why would anyone ever doubt you? You are danielson afterall.

By the way, you get more props when you don't beg for it.

I don't care; Ken Shamrock is one of the best fighters in the world. Ken is going to bring the pain to Toto Ortiz. Long live the Lion's Den.

Shamrock needs to hang up the gloves.  Maybe play professional pool.

Shamrock is still a warrior, he has heart and mettle and no can take that away from him.  But after the BEATING he took from Ortiz and the lame ass excuse for a fight he had when he put over Franklin, it is obvious that Shamrock's days in the UFC are over.  Maybe he could beat one or two guys in KOTC or PRIDE or some other federation, but Shamrock's MMA days are over.  HE needs to pursue other avenues...maybe WWE or TNA... AND his attitude during TUF was ridiculous.  He would, unprovoked, just talk shit to Ortiz, and the fight they had, it wasn't a draw. or a decision or even a close fight.  Tito killed him for 3 rounds

As far as Ortiz, I met him on two oocasions and both times he was MORE than polite, friendly courteous and overall just an awesome guy.  I hadn't seen his last fights, but if can bring the Tito when he dominated the 199 class (remember that??) He would have 0 problem dismemebring Shamrock...

A Frank Shamrock/Ortiz rematch would be good...or if Frank does not want to fight at 205 ( I think that's a too much weight for him) he could battle with Frankling ofr the 185 title THAT would be a FIGHT!!!

tito was pretty much gassed from the end of the 1st all the way to the final horn against griffin so he'll need to take shammy serious but with that being said shamrock is soooo slow these day......

the only thing making this fight even remotely interesting is the fact that these guys really dispise each other

I'll say tito stops him on cuts again but I think tito's gonna look old in doing so

I like Tito, always have. Ken seems like a good family man, but his fighting days are over. What he said about Tito playing nice for the cameras as far as the kids were concerned looks kind of stupid now the Kendall and Hamill have joined Team Punishment. Tito should be able to win this one anyway he wants to, probably three rounds of punishment.

i agree with the retirement thing, i think its stupid for fighters to destroy their image and rep by trying to keep going. examples go on for ever. Tyson, shamrock, Roy Jones Jr, etc. all had awesome careers but blew it by trying to keep it going. i can also understand that they probably fight for financial reasons

especially when they make less than six figures for a fight. It make total sense for a boxer to retire on top, but in mma they sometimes need the cash. Does anyone really think Royce thought he had any chance against country breakfast Hughes?

no i thnk royce thought he had a chance though, to be honest i think guys that train primarly bjj think they have a chance. as long as you dont lay on the ground and give a bjj fighter an arm or limb you can probaly win. fighters taht scramble do very well against bjj fighters. i think wrestling and striking are mor eimportant than bjj. of course you need to know some submissions but if you can throw and have good defense who gives a shit

you just described Rashad Evans, no subs, but great wrestling and fast hands. I think he is better than people think.
