My waist was actualy 2 inches bigger and when I lost the weight my pants didn't fit well.
I'm trying to eat as much as I can so I can fill out my frame. I'm an ectomorph I think...

Mike, Thanks for the kind words. I am trying hard to put on weight and hopefully do a show in Mass. Perhaps The Worcester Classic. As mentioned I am an ectomorph so I really keep my cardio at a minimum.
Right now I am using
Champion Hvywt Gainer 900 with 2 banana's (3 shakes a day)
BSN Nitrix
4 - 6 scoops of muscle milk before bed (depends if I trained or not)
Right now I am trying to put on weight and eat every 1 1/2 - 2 hrs, things like Sweet Potato, Chicken, hamburgers, Whole Milk etc
Since I started doing this I put on 7 lbs in one month and hope to be 155 by ,id July....
You have done a great job with your transformation, although it could have been a little better. Let me know if you need any help with your next show as I am sure I can help you dial it in.

its good to see someone knows that low bodyfat doesnt make you a bodybuilder... 18 lbs of muscle, congragulations, im sure it qwas tough, looking at you i can tell youve got a fast metabolism to try and stay ahead of.

Thanks candidate. Irony is I am taking in between 5-6000 calories and I feel my metabolism has actually gotten faster.....

yeah i have sow metabloism...or did have one, and i knwo what you mean by it feeling like it changes...the more i eat, the more it seams like i need to eat....the less i eat, the less it seems like i need to eat.

Mike for a fellow lifter, of course I don't charge.
I highly recommend a very high fat meal after working out. Your metabolism is the highest so why not indulge. Personally I prefer a Big Mac or Whopper as it is a good mix of complex and fibrous carbs as well as Protein. Again since I am trying to bulk up I sometimes will eat 2 of these post workout. Since you are fairly lean and in great shape you should eat one with a Soy Protein shake.
At about 3 weeks out I would discontinue this and go to a low carb shake.
Let me know if there is anything else I can answer. I wish you would have reached out earlier before your show as I think we would have made a good team and I perhaps could have taken you to the #1 spot...
I also neglected to mention I have a BS in Nutrition and Exercise Science from FSU....

I am doing this the natural way. I have put on some good size thus far and will continue to do what I am doing. Everything is coming along nicely. Family, friends everyone is saying they are seeing a noticeable change in my size and thats the best compliment.
I even got a PM from one of the Pros on here saying I have a great frame and with time it will fill out. Gave me some free tips as well.

Well, we all have to start somewhere... When i started i was extremely skinny, a bit like you. After a couple of years now, i have the so-called "swimmer-look". Which i'm more than happy about. ;D
Couple of tips: - stick to the basics, i mainly work with free weights, but keep it controlled and feel the muscle working
- post-workout i take a shitload of carbs and a little whey, this during the first hour. After that it's protein-time
- work every muscle. Esp back/legs. At first i didnt do train legs, they're still lagging and that sucks, now i have a good upperbody and subpar legs, but working on it
This worked for me, i was very skinny due to undereating, maybe that's been your problem as well. At first i did a crazy bulk, but if i were you i'd keep the fat gained under control. But you'll see a lot of change in the first months if u do things right, believe me. I think i gained like 5 kgs of muscle in the first 4-5 months (a lot of fat as well).

Haha very funny Mike. Actually it wasn't Rhino and it had nothing to do with reach arounds but come to think about he did say something about jerks then clean and now that I think about it isn't it clean and jerk?

If your eating that much at 34 and still that thin. Check with a doctor for your thyroid, you could have an overactive thyroid which can lead to a super fast metabolism.

Seriously have your thyroid checked. It may not be dangerously high but maybe with some help it could slow down your metabolism a bit.

I have recently laid off the ECA stack to see if that may help.

Just wanted to update everyone of my latest trials and tribulations. I am now at the 156 mark, but unfortunately my cat knocked my camera off the counter so it will be a week or so until I can post new pics (waiting for the big commission check).
At this rate I hope to be 165 by end of the summer and just may enter my first show mid next year, gotta start somewhere.
