Flex had superb delts. Very rarely spoken in that regard.
Hell, he had a superb package! Probably why he was very rarely spoken in that regard.

I remember Flex talking about how he used to inject lots and lots of.. was it escilene? I'm not familiar with it. But, it was the drug that caused lots of inflamation that lasted several hours but didn't give way to a smooth look as synthol does. He also mentioned that the only one who used more of this than him was Kevin. Now, this is what he said in MD, may have been trying to build the story up a bit, who knows. But, it was pretty crazy what he described- shooting so much that he would pass out for two hours as a matter of course. A couple years, Flex's delts and arms looked like they had been stung by several thousand bees. I think he was trying to outsize Ronnie in that dept at that point.

It also doesn't help Kevin that Ronnie is much darker than him. I think that is one advantage that Ronnie has that is rarely discussed. His very dark complexion makes him look like he is in better condition than lighter skinned bodybuilders that are in similar condition.

and this might not be a popular choice because he was not the widest guy around but his delts were some of the best "developed" during his time....Rich Gaspari..every head was maxed out and they were freakin huge..great traps, awsome detail...to bad he was narrow...then you have to have one of the saddest stories in pro bodybuilding, great body, too bad he got sick:

I think his deltoids were not wide enough

Dillets shoulders were huge but not enough detail, especially the rear delts.
Schwarzeneggers shoulders were hanging and simply hadn`t enough mass

Really ??? Then he must have some state of the art synthol cause he has always had massive shoulders and when the rest of him is ripped you can clearly see striations IMO 8)

No arnold's trap did not over power his shoulders, if you have less trap build your shoulders look wider, more they look jacked but not as wide as they really are,case in point Jay Cutler

As usual Jay delts look funky....I dont know what it is,implants,synthol,esicline whatever...but they arent 100% natural (oposed to Gus arms :P lol)

he was over here at the universe many years back and was wearing just a shirt and trenhcoat on upper body tied. ppl were laughing at him goin that he had 4 ort 5 layers of clothes on he took off coat and everyone was amazed. i showed my gym owner that pic he sed he was really that broad. sed broadest person he ever seen
i was in disbelief then vic (gym owner) silenced my doubts
