Dear friends
Kind regards
What stupid things have you seen in the gym? Just today i watched some clwon squatting with about 160lbs, going all the way down and then up real fast and jumping about a foot in the air and landing stiff legged each time. What a fucking twat
Yours thankfully
John

-

Yours thankfully
John
-
Maybe that's one technique to gain more mass then regular squats?
-
jump squats are frequently done in atheletics to boost vertical jumping power... nothing strange there dude, i did them for years while playing ball
-
while playing with your balls?
-
while having balls in your mouth?

No, you're a dum ass for not knowing what polymetric exercise is (may have pronounced it wrong). Its used by runners and basketball players to improve reaction time and vertical prowless. Nothing wrong with that. A lot of coaches train their players with that exercise

While getting balled ?????

I think maybe MoralMan was focusing on the fact that the fellow was landing stiff-legged and is concerned for his knees.
Meanwhile,

John
this is refreshing ;D

Yes, I was gonna say what STella just said... the fact that he's landing on the ground with his knees LOCKED is what's pretty stupid about the whole thing.

my "gym" has one 20 kg plate that looks almost exactly the same as the 20.4 kg (45 lbs). I keep bringing it to front desk so they can get rid of it before someone gets hurt but the twats don't do shit about it.
I've also noticed some of the 45s weigh a lot more than other 45s. You really have to judge which one's match before you start a set

It's safer and easier on the joints if you can do this on a hip sled.
-
Well, most of the members at my gym don't lift legs. I guess that is "stupid stuff you DON"T see in the gym".
-
another thread where someone whine about something he has seen and end up being owned because what he complained about was perfectly allright

Vince....you're an idiot.
Here, let me help...
There's no such word as polymetric.
Plyometric:
Pronunciation: "plI-&-'me-triks
Function: noun plural but singular or plural in construction
Etymology: perhaps irregular from plio- + -metrics (as in isometrics)
: exercise involving repeated rapid stretching and contracting of muscles (as by jumping and rebounding) to increase muscle power
You're an even bigger idiot to not realize or acknowledge the dangers of landing stiff-legged while doing a weight-bearing jump.
Here's my enrty for "Stoopid stuff seen in the gym": Vince training. I'd pay real money for a video of one of the blistering workouts that led to your winning physique at the 2004 Metrolina.
Tool.
Can't wait to see you get crushed at the Mountaineer and the Elite.

I have seen some guys doing squats while standing on that ball thingy. Makes me laugh everytime
-
guys using the abductor/adductor machines

guys using the abductor/adductor machines
I see these machines used frequently by 2 women. Because these 2 machines are opposed to each other it makes it easier for them to talk (gossip).
-
I dunno... After the regular mass exercises, I'm sure the abductor/adductor machines have some value as ways to hit stabilizing muscles and those not normally hit by squats, presses, and extensions. Are they completely worthless?

and easier for them the clam-bump (lesbonic coitus)

I have a really hard time believing anyone is landing with their knees locked (more than one time) with 165lbs on their back! I call foul!

You are the fucking twat, because unlike you he is probably a real "athlete" who is training for an actual sport.
Not some moron who goes to the gym once a week with his spaghetti tank top and crazy wear pants who instead of minding his own business and concentrating on the monster 135 bench he's doing is busy staring at others.
Vince G, you are just a worthless piece of dogshit.
Polymetric. What fucking joke this clown is.
Ever heard of Google you dickwad.
I love how he tries to sound intelligent too.
WESTSIDE!!!! Eh vince, you fricking douche
