Title: Gyms in Gurnee, Illinois

Besides Powerhouse ($70+/mo  :o ) are there any decent gyms?  Just checking for a friend of a friend who's relocating.

If you pay 70 a month, I'm sorry. I'd rather put all that money into my home gym, which I finally have now. I think I put about 9 grand into it so far. I transformed my living room into my gym. My bedroom is my living room, and my second room is my bedroom room. God, I love being a bachelor.

Can't help you out, but 70 bucks a month sounds high.  For me and wife, it's 33 bucks a month.  Is that located in a big city?

I don't live too far from that area, I am pretty sure there is a Gold's gym in Gurnee.

There is a Gold's Gym in Gurnee practically across the street from Six Flags Great America.  $70.00 a month is actually a normal rate for gyms in the chicago area and can go up from there.  In Chicago you get a lot more choices. Im live in chicago and go to a great gym called Quads gym.  They have a lot more in free weights compared to any gym. They have a website (dorky website) but the gym is great no contracts either. Ive been there for 3yrs.
