Did you train like a bodybuilder during your basketball years?

1999-00: Appeared in 12 games last season, seeing almost four minutes of action per appearance...Averaged 1.2 points, 0.3 rebounds and was 5-for-16 shooting in those 12 games...Also was 2-for-6 from behind the arc...Had his season-high point total of four at Arkansas-Little Rock on Feb. 21...Made his only three-point attempt of the season at Navy on Dec. 6...Played a season-high 11 minutes at Oregon on Dec. 11...Played seven minutes a game two other occasions, at Arkansas State Feb. 5 and at UALR Feb. 21...Best all-around game was Feb. 5 at Arkansas State when he scored three points, tallied two rebounds, and dished out two assists.

1998-99: Played in 24 of Denver's 27 games last season...Averaged 1.0 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.2 assists...Scored a season-high six points on 2-of-2 shooting from three-point range vs. Arkansas State on Nov. 28, 1998 and that perfect night from beyond the arc matched the team season high for three-point field goal percentage...Grabbed a season-high two rebounds vs. Arkansas State, a mark he also matched against Loyola (Md.) on Feb. 2, 1999...Dished out a season-best two assists in a win over Wyoming on Nov. 17, 1998...Scored five points in eight minutes off the bench vs. Air Force on Feb. 16, 1999...Tallied four points in six minutes of play against Texas-Pan American on Jan. 30, 1999.

Yes - Phil is one smart bodybuilder - with a computer science major with minors in both math and business, which is why he will be doing quite fine in the sport of bodybuilding, with his new supplement sponsor and contract, and with the upcoming pro shows next year, starting with the Arnold Classic.

Hey Phil - you just won the Colorado Pro show and the NY Pro show - what are you going to do???

he probably used the chris cormier priciples, on the cell phone 24 hrs a day, taking 3 estacy pills a day, and line up his baby's mommas.
